    thought it would be fun to start a thread tracking kobe's movement in total points.At the Moment Kobe is #37 all time in total points with 19145 pointsWho he is looking to pass soon:Player (pts needed)Bob Lanier (36)Cliff Robinson (176) [can he pass him before the season is over?]I'll try to keep this updated as the season progressesGames until he catches jabbar at current career rate: 783

    I think Kobe may just pull off a great performance in tonite's game against the Rockets... I want to see him go for at least 50, I think he should since he'll be on ESPN and more people will get to see him do it... [​IMG]

    Kobe will have a big game against Denver I think... because George Karl will continue to use his idiotic defensive match-ups and probably put somebody like Steve Blake on Kobe for the entire game...

    Man, and to think....He has so many years left in him. He is in his prime right now, and I honestly dont see him being any worse in 3 years. He keeps himself in such great shape, and he is just too damn good. He is going to be up there when he retires...

    I see him getting in mid 30,000's. He still has many years left in him, but with the age he is getting more prone to injuries, and that will only continue. Not to mention players like Bynum will eventually emerge, and Kobe just won't be able to score 30 points every single night. But what this guy is doing is just incredible.

He's been exceedingly durable over his career.

    He has had multiple injuries to ankle area, a few shoulder injuries, etc... That kind of stuff will only be harder to recover from as he ages, especially since he came out of HS and has more years on him than other players of same age.

He has missed a couple games this season because of his ankle and the off season surgery he had.
