Anyone used it yet? http://stream.nbcsports.com/rsn/nba-blazers-live-stream I think you can stream via their app also. http://www.nbcsports.com/northwest/live-faq
IT FUCKING SUCKS! SUCKS! It's embarrassing how laggy that stream is. Freezes up, completely unwatchable. Also the quality of the picture is horrible. I used it last game, it was so laggy that I was 3 minutes behind the action BEFORE the game started. The stream of the game finished 7 minutes after the 1st quarter did. I went on Reddit and the illegal streams there were much clearer and not lagging. Many people complaining about it on twitter. NBCSportsNW doesn't respond to any of the tweets.
Website. And just for comparison I have no problems with ESPN, Pac-12, HBO, Discovery, Netflix, Crackle, no other streaming sites give me problems.
The stream is better today. Twice now it's reset but it's not doing the lag like it was Wednesday and during the preseason.
I had a Blazer stream going on one of those illegal sites, and it was LAAAGY as fucking hell. I imagine it was the same link as the ones listed above by the OP. Finally changed over to a Pacers broadcast, and it was great. I hope that's not a regular thing with Portland broadcasts....I prefer the home commentary. I'll commit seppuku if I have to listen to the Rockets or GSW broadcast.
Yeah the stream coming out of NBCSW is pretty bad. The freezing isn't with the app or the website either; it's with the actual stream itself. It's still there when you do the replay of the game later on Hulu or Vue. As for the video quality, the Blazers crew is running some old-ass cameras that are obviously upscaling to HD instead of being native 1080p or 2K/4K downscaled like more modern setups. It's a little podunk. And of course, whatever stingy-ass compression settings NBCSW is using don't help.
I've used the stream on my iphone via their app several times and it's been good every time. But I've always been on WiFi.
If you're a cord cutter like I am, just break down and get PSVue for the season and unplug in the summer when there isn't shit on anyway. No contracts, $44, you get a decent selection of channels, and you can watch it on your phone, PC, roku, whatever and it's pretty good quality.
Even if you had the iphone super super XXXXX it would still be hard to watch basketball on that small of a screen.
And if you get Vue on the Roku it may keep working after you cancel it! Mine's still coming in and I cancelled it two months ago and haven't been charged.
Looks like its on sale right now for $31.50 (normally $34.99). First game of the 15 games is Dec 11th vs the Warriors. https://www.nbcsports.com/gold/blaz...utm_tags=end:site:blazers:banner:blazers_tile
