    Says that he thinks Nurkic might be having some lower back pain. Says he's witnessed Nurk pointing at his lower back and getting it looked at. That's why he's not playing as well. Stotts said he knows nothing about it and Nurk wasn't available to comment.

    If he's hurting, it could be an explanation for why he's not looking as dominant as he did before.

    As plausible a reason as any.

    That low post banging would take a toll on your lower back, and pain would make one less likely to want to do that and more likely to try to compensate by shooting more jumpers.

    This describes Nurk so far IMO.

    Well he might be the reason that Nurk wasn't so active on defense. Well I guess we soon find out if he can't go Collins better get himself ready to go.

    During the Clippers game I noticed Nurk rubbing his lower back as they headed into a timeout. Hearing this doesn't surprise me. Hopefully it isn't anything serious.
