If you want to see something crazy check out James Cameron's IMDB - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000116/?ref_=nv_sr_1 Avatar part 2 thru 5 is all being filmed at the same time. Considering that Cameron doesn't do anything on the cheap this must be costing 10s of billions of dollars.
Quick google. 3 days ago. Now I guess they say 4 or 5 seasons. lol. Until they get that netflix check, it will be extended for 10 seasons. They also mention they are a few days into writing the 3rd season. The hype has started http://www.eonline.com/news/890175/...-trying-to-decide-how-long-the-show-will-last
I think I did look at that one time because I was wondering when the fuck the 2nd one will come out because it's been talked about forever. Yeah that's a lot of money. I honestly didn't care for the first one though honestly
I liked the first one, very original, amazing special effects. But it's going to need a lot more than that to carry that franchise for 4 more movies.
So the kids assumed if they killed the mind flayer/shadow monster that Will would die if the virus hadn't left him yet. So they get Will all hot and the virus leaves him, where did it go? Does it matter? Maybe it just dies off being disconnected. And now the gate is closed with the Shadow Monster still in the upside down. With that said, what would have happened if the virus remained in Will, but 11 closed the gate? Would the Shadow Monster still have been able to control Will?
Avatar is amazing in that it's the highest-grossing movie of all time without anyone particularly liking it or remembering anything about the plot. It only succeeded because it did great 3D when people cared about 3D. But then Cameron's been written off every time, so maybe these sequels will be huge successes...
Yeah, I was hoping they'd bring it up a level. It is just as good as the first season. Really enjoying it. Have 2 more episodes to go.
I don't care for paul reisers character. I was hoping Billy was going to be something more than just an asshole...but no hes just an asshole
Maybe she wouldn't have been able to close the gate. That or will would die...or go comatose till the door reopened
Yeah it felt like they were trying to turn 8 episodes into 9 and dragged out some character building for 11
It opens the door for the return of the lost sister and other peeps with powers to appear in further episodes. It also reminded us a certain person thought dead is in fact still out there.
My son and I just started season 2 last night before the Blazer game. PS Vue makes it so that it has to finish recording before you can watch it from the beginning. So I waited for the game to be over and watched a couple episodes of stranger things. They're pretty good but I'm staying out of this thread to avoid spoilers.
he could be, they left that open ended kinda. You don't really know if he died season one. I kinda thought he was but there are some loopholes that they could write him back into the show for a surprise. At this point I am curious what the duffer brothers are thinking up for season 3. They left it open for pretty much anything happening with how it ended
11 having a teenage angst moment in the city wasn't the highlight of the show, and while it seems superfluous, it was necessary for what she was able to do in the end. She learned how focus and control her power while there with the other girl. But, yeah, it seemed to introduce a whole ton of new characters a bit unnecessarily. With that said, the show gets almost everything right. It's in complete control of its tone, feel, a general color palette. I could watch more of it every day.
Yeah but I felt maybe they could of done that differently. That whole episode honestly lost me. It was the stand alone weird eleven episode where she goes to the city for a night.
Will's Emo older brother. Got to say his fake US accent fooled me. Here's what he really sounds like:
