Dude? This game is in the Rose Garden. Pessimistic much?

To be fair, the Blazers haven't exactly been lighting it up in the Rose Garden.

I appreciate anyone who is across the pond who is waking up in the middle of the night to support their team.

I can agree with that. But the Blazers don't get blown out in the Rose Garden much. Hoping for a 10 point loss seems a bit negative to me?

Sure the Blazers can win, but that would require playing a lot better at both ends than what they've shown in the last 7. If the perimeter defense doesn't do a better job of keeping guys out of the lane, then the bigs are going to get into early foul trouble (yet again), and guys like Melo, George and Westbrook are going to have an open buffet at the free throw line.

Vegas has the Blazers as 2.5 point dogs at home for a reason.

Agreed....but the Blazers were down by 20 to the Raptors who were without their starting C and PF just not that long ago. I hope the Blazers win but the reality of it is, outside of one hot stretch right after getting Nurkic last year against a pretty soft schedule, this team just hasn't been very good for quite some time now.

Their wins have all come against teams with a non-winning record (except for the Pacers). It's very early so the margin is pretty middle of the road...much like the Blazers record. But it was the same for much of last year. They really struggled to beat anyone with a winning record and that went on for most of the season. Opponent record in Wins 22-24, Opponent record in Losses 19-15

Any team with crawchuck has a chance for hero ball failure in the 4th quarter, especially after irritating his fellow stars with ballhoggery.

But I thought we were supposed to finish ahead of OKC according to some here.

This game could be a big 'fuck you' to large-market pandering primadonnas across the league. I really hope we win. Melo and PG can hop on Westbrick's back and ride out of town after their loss to a Blazers team with more grit and determination. Fingers crossed.

Beating teams with winning records is tough because they have winning records. They have winning records because they are good teams. The Blazers currently have a winning record. Sure this game is going to be tough. But they can win it.

Hero ball could easily apply to both teams tonight. Crawful, Westbroke, Me-lo, CJ....that is a lot of ball dominant, shoot first players and Dame isn't far from that group.

Is Jamal Crawford really enough of a ballhog to irritate other teams' stars when playing in a different game, in a different city, 1500 miles away?

I think Nurk is the deciding factor tonight! Dame is learning how to get the ball to him better in positions that aere good for him to score.
He is going to have a big game tonight!!!!! Probably in excess of 30. He will need to watch fouls in first half however!

Gameplan is the same as it always is against OKC, let Westbrook shoot them out of the game.

They mean finish the regular season....OKC will still be playing according to some while we're having a nice summer....personally, I think we'll get better and better as the season goes on...what's not to like about beating OKC all season long? Surprise me Blazers! The season is just starting....not throwin' in the towel just yet!

You keep talking like you're not cut from the same cloth. The only difference is you're on the opposite end of the spectrum. It's the same extreme.

I expect a good game....we play better teams tougher than we play the bottom feeders most seasons..GO BLAZERS!! They have a bench led by Raymond Felton...

Wait a sec. Are you calling OKC a "large market?"
