    I think the thing that bugs me about this place the most is the flat out hate a disrespect for other teams players. Why can't you guys show some respect for good ball players every now and then. It won't mean you are LESS of a Blazers fan.
    Westbrook and PG are 2 of the best players in the league. I can understand not liking Russ (shit, if anybody on here actually had a reason it would be me, and my two encounters with him) but he is one of the most exciting players to watch today in the league. That 4th quarter was a blast to watch right? Back and fourth 3s, up and down.
    Props to our guys for putting away a better team than us. We got a little help from the refs on the Melo play if you ask me. And on that note, please remember that play when freaking out about some call down the road. Whether you believe it or not, the calls do tend to even themselves out.
    It's alright to give other teams players a little credit , yet preserve your pinwheel allegiance.

    Done. The bullshit foul on Patty when Westbrick made a layup in the first quarter. The ref who made that call was on the other side of Westbrick and couldn't even see if Patty touched him or not. He didn't. Refs miss calls all game long. It's part of the game. They are human.

    Turner barely tapped Westbrick's elbow on the three. That's a foul. If he puts his hand up and not out that doesn't happen.

    But the Melo move? Where he drove diagonally away from the basket and lead with his elbow into Nurk's chin? OKC fans must have a lot of cow shit in their eyes if they can't see why that's a flagrant.

    They may not like the call, but the explanation is pretty cut and dried:

    Crew chief Rodney Mott also explained his ruling via pool report:

    "We deemed that the contact was excessive and that it was not a natural basketball move where he seeks out Nurkic, hits him in the face with an elbow and goes back to the basket. So because it's unnatural and it's deemed excessive, therefore it is a (Flagrant 2)."
