Pick one player in the history of the NBA, and you get to replace one player in your starting lineup with a prime whoever. For the Pistons-A tough selection, so I have three options.Billups/Rip/Bird/Rasheed/CWebbWe get a flat out scorer who can shoot the three like a mad man. He's clutch, and one of the best SF of all time.Billups/Rip/Prince/Rasheed/KareemThe all-time leader in points, a true low post threat. Imagine how stacked our offense would be.Billups/Rip/Prince/Rasheed/HakeemA tons better Ben Wallace, would give us a crazy defensive frontcourt and would be our anchor.Yeah yeah, I didn't pick Jordan. Just because he's the best of all time doesn't mean he's the best for the team.

I'd take Wilt, than get rid of everyone else but Williams and Wilt. Williams would average 25 assists as Wilt got 50 points a game.
No brainer.KnicksG : Walt "Clyde" FrazierSG : Stephon MarburySF : Quentin RichardsonPF : Channing FryeC : Eddy Curry
Warriors, I say it's easy to pick Kevin Garnett prime.PG: Baron DavisSG: Jason RichardsonSF: Stephen JacksonPF: Kevin GarnettC: Andris BiedrinsBench: Monta Ellis, Al Harrington, Mickael Pietrus
PG: Gilbert ArenasSG: DeShawn StevensonSF: Caron ButlerPF: Antawn JamisonC: Dikembe MutomboWhy? I love Brendan at the spot but Dikembe Mutombo is a perfect fit for the wizards squad. Arguebely teh best defensive center on a team lacking of defense should really help the Wiz out. Of course this would create a very big crowd at the big man depth and would prolly result in the Wiz trading Etan (I can hope) Not to mention his presence would open up alot of open shots.
No offense but I think it's a weird thread because none of these situations would ever happen..and most people are just gonna put Jordan or Chamberlain probablyBut I think I would pick Wilt Chamberlain or Bill Russell for BostonRondoAllenPierceJeffersonRussell/Chamberlain
Well, I'd obviously go with Jordan over Bell. Bell is there for defense, toughness, heart, etc. and Jordan doesn't lack either, and is a better defensive player and also a much, much better offensive player. I think you should not allow people to use top 5 or top 10 guys of all-time.I'd take Dennis Rodman. Rebounding is the biggest need on the team and if we had him for 1 year in his prime then we would win it all this year.
PG-Dennis JohnsonSG-Tony Allen SF-Paul PiercePF-Al JeffersonC-Kendrick PerkinsGotta give DJ some props. I like that lineup a lot. It's also what we need really bad, a veteran point guard, a TRUE point guard. I'm also pleasing Danny Ainge with this pick because that's what he wanted at the beginning of this season. DJ would have been a lot better than sebastian freakin telfair.
lol. this is kind of a pointless topic. pg - magic johnsonsg - mike dunleavysf - danny grangerpf - jermaine o'nealc - troy murphy
That team still won't win more than 50 games. You have two stars, a good young player and two weak ass pussys.

You could inject Murphy and Dunleavy with enough testerone to kill someone and they wouldn't be able to play hard anyway.

Since our biggest need is a scorer on the wings that can hit the three and hit shots late in the game, I would take a prime Reggie Miller for my team. He doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective, he can move without the ball, come off picks, and play the catch and shoot game which would allow Dwight to have a bigger impact on games. I would take him over Jordan, or any other player in NBA hisotry for my Magic team this year.
