Olshey will run his mouth how he being aggressive and active to upgrade this roster. 2 things he has for him he got 15 spot he can fill to sign a player and he got TPE 12.9 that he can use to find a upgrade to this roster let see how aggressive he really is.

He's not gonna use that TPE let's be real. Might as well have just kept Crabbe then. Our best hope is he trades for someone buried on a depth chart. Should've just traded for Hezonja honestly.

Your right he properly won't use it and that what I am talking about he say it a tool he can use and also him being aggressive and it becoming all talk and that it.

Would Courtney Lee for the TPE be an upgrade?

I know he does things that don't show up in the stat column, but he seriously disappears on the offensive side of the court and as much as I like the guy. I also would be fine with Jake getting some more burn. Jake doesn't seem to be afraid to shoot or drive to the basket. He will make a ton of mistakes that we would have to patient with but that's how Pat came along too. Find someone that will take Myle and Mo (?) and make a deal. We can afford to wait on Caleb and Zach, Jake and maybe Pat with his improvement, possibly Noah, he seems to fit with Nurkic, but our Starters need to be more consistently involved at the very least. Nurkic really opened up our offense with his pick and roll and now pick and pop abilities, a driving/shooting SF would just add to that. We can't afford to be one dimensional and expect to go anywhere in the playoffs. Aminu has had an amazing start to the season but seems to be better at the backup PF position.??

If you spend even just one quarter watching Harkless you can tell his hearts just not in it. Especially on the offensive end. Check out his reaction to Dames game winner against the Lakers. He literally looks disappointed it went in. He’s been pouty before and I get the feeling he thinks more of himself then he should.

To be fair, he's always been like that. The thought has crossed my mind that he's over Portland, I mean we did only try and replace him all summer, but I wouldn't read too much into this.

I agree that i wouldn’t read much into just that one play but he’s seemed pretty visibly unhappy to me. Just after spending a couple games focusing on him that’s what I’ve noticed, maybe it’s just who he is but with his history of needing pep talks from Dame to get his head back in the game I can’t help but think he’s just checked out.

if Layman can’t get time on this team then he is a bad nba player. That is all.

That's one way to interpret it. You could also say that he stays even keeled at all times. Which is true.

Assumptions about someone's thought process are just that, assumptions.

It's called the Fundemental Attribution Error. Between Actor-Observer, the observer believes it's something innate in the person, whereas it could be that the actor has something else that is making them act the way they are.

I.E. Someone cuts you off while driving.

Observer: "This person is an idiot, what the fuck was he thinking? Man, such stupid drivers" etc, etc

Actor: "Sorry, I'm late. Had a bad day. I'm sorry!" etc, etc.

It's a social psychology thing and its one of the most prevelant and prolific acts that is definitely ubiquitous as a human. We all do it.

But that's the exact problem. He should be trying to PROVE that he's better than the guys he might've been traded for. He should be trying to PROVE that we would've made a mistake if we traded him. He should be playing with a chip on his shoulder. But he doesn't. He doesn't hustle anymore, and he plays with no tenacity. He doesn't have his mind in it and doesn't care, and it's so obvious in his play. That's why I've gotten pissed at him lately. He's peaked (at least in Portland).

New York wanted him. We should be trying to snatch Courtney Lee for him. Maybe get a right to swap 1sts with NYK (might have to include Napier, but that would open up a main roster spot for Wade Baldwin).

Knicks are playing well but I think they'd be open to a Lee-Harkless swap. So would I. So should everyone else.

Since Harkless was a target for the Knicks, I'd propose:
    Hark + Meyers
    for
    Lee + OQuinn

Why get rid of Mo? Guys a great 7th or 8th guy like we've thought since we acquired him. He's done as expected. And he's cheap and young. If you thought he was more than that, thats on you.

Ha you are right I’m wrong. He’s a good player and the coaching staff just doesn’t see it. And they don’t need help at this position. Everything is going swimmingly with our current SF.
