This is just the easy part of the schedule. We lost to the nets at home. We suck for real, can't play D... I really can't believe the nets just kill us at home. Blazers can't have a Hot Start... Im really mad/sad about this loss... we are at our home court... they just kill my weekend.
I used to get real upset over losses, now it's mostly a case of "meh". A bit part of it was the fact I didn't get to watch most of the games due to the comcast sportsNW shit. But in reality, they're showing what they are. A mediocre team that won't do shit this year and doesn't seem to have the brain power to change things.
This is why I thought our offseason was extremely disappointing. Our biggest additions were rookies... like.... what?
Our rookies are ready to play. One of them is ready for S5 (but he is humble and said he want some time on bench), another is slowly developing into new Mayers Leonard. He just need some more muscles, as his haircut is already great. Buy him husky and you won't see the difference.
I didn't even watch a minute of the game last night. It just feels like a waste of time. This is the 3rd season now where the team has been puttering along with this same slightly below mediocre play. But even I though surely they would be the NETS at home. But nope, another close loss. Did they choke it away at the end again?
Same here. Over the close games this season I get all excited over it. After last night I was just like welp, yup that's my team. I mean fuck it, this is who they are. Nothing you can do except hope for a good team one day. I am more scared of Dame threatening leaving than anything. Guys like him you don't come across in the league often and Portland would have a hell of a time finding another star after him
