Well I don’t have a way to know for certain, but I do believe a large percent of Trump supporters are racist.

Of course a decent percent are. How much is a large number and even if they are racist what kind of stupid logic does it involve to be unable to see that importing more violent idiots is a bad idea?

That's the same idiotic line of thinking people use when an illegal kills someone driving drunk...."but but but Americans drive drunk and kill people"

I'd want to bet you 10 million dollars that a decent amount of Hillary voters are racists too. Don't have the money and ability to prove it but I'm just as sure of it as you are Trump. I'd concede that it is probably a smaller number but so what?

The sad part about this article is that it’s a huge generalization of white people and it’s also alarming how popular it has become to shit on white people. It’s hypocrisy at its finest. Complaining about racism by being racist. Another point of me posting this is the fact it’s the New York Times putting this shit out. We live in a time where the media really is untrustworthy and it’s clear what their agendas are and what ideology they align with

What do you suppose that first word beginning with O means, in what you linked? It's a mystery, isn't it?

Though I have nothing but contempt for the extremely bigoted and racist opine of Ekow N. Yankah, I will defend his right to do so until my last breath.

Right but come on. This opinion is a bit extreme and there are no valid points at all. It’s a shame New York Times even associates with it. It’s a racist opinion. Plain and simple. Ignorant one as well

Fair. I see opinions like it all the time. They can exist but it’s a low for the New York Times.

Regardless of what the story says, none of you have to be friends with us, and you can lead your happy lives without ever worrying about racism affecting any of you.

What? It’s not about that. The same way you point out racism time to time, sometimes warranted others not, I’m just doing the same. This person who did this piece is obviously fairly ignorant and just plain absurd.

I haven't read it. But you're reading it as a white guy from Damascus who will never have the perspective someone black, nor will you even TRY to empathize.
And for some reason, you can't understand why the "good people" of Damascus would ever be so mean to me... So.. There's that...

If you read the opinion piece it is pretty much the author saying he plans to teach his children racism. I work with a complete moron from Tennessee and he said some racist shit the other day and I told him he couldn't say stuff like that.

He said "sure I can, I'm from Tennessee"

That's what the poor kid in your picture is getting taught in Tennessee.

Why are you coming in here all defensive and why even comment if you don’t know what it’s about? You just start ranting about racism when the thread is about the piece, holy shit

It's a smaller number because there are more trump supporters than hillary supporters. BOOM!

Defensive? No... get your mind right there. And the thread is about racism. Through and through.

All you do is complain about racism that happens to white people. I don't never see you say one damn thing about any racism that happens to black people. That's the whole reason for this stupid ass thread. To rant on the New York Times about supposed racism against white people.

Regardless if you believe that only a small portion of the country believes this, this is exactly what happens. White people are almost never labeled terrorists. You should go ahead and look at the responses to the Vegas shooting BEFORE they found out he was white. Go ahead I'll wait.

Don't care. Don't want to debate it. This is just another one of those things you don't accept the definition of. Paddock wasn't a terrorist. He's a mass murderer.

Define it how you want, I'd torture that asshole if I could.
