...Cashman and the Yanx would be better served if he'd find a way to jettison Headley before the pre-season begins and let the youngsters battle for the 3B job.
ARod sent Hal Steinbrenner a Text Message today. It was not about being in the Yankees Dugout next Season. Hal said "I have not talked to Alex about being a Candidate for the next Yankee Manager" as per Bryan Hoch.
I think torres is going to win a job hopefully at 2nd but at worst 3rd as cashman opened the door and the kid if he's fully healed and seems that he will be will grab one of those jobs. Your right they need to either trade headley or preferably castro to clear some room. Headley I actually wouldn't mind back for the last year as he plays third, first, can dh some and is a good teammate and clubhouse influence by all accounts. My biggest worry is they trade clint frazier instead of gardner who should have some value to teams and I think frazier will be a young stud.
...Castro frustrates the hell out of me and he's so damned streaky, both offensive and defensively...but he'd be a helluva trade chip...maybe package him along with Headley or Ellsbury? ...that could solve 2 issues at one time.
Gonna have to make some moves maybe 2 or 3 for 1"s to get extraneous guys off the 40 man roster and some more valued minor leaguers on it so they can protect them and not lose them to the rule 5 draft this coming tuesday.
you're effing kidding me, Hensley Bam "bam bam, can't hit" Meulens; a Minor Lg'r Lifer, now the bench coach for SF, wtf-, a good reason to never partake in the Giant's Kool Aid- Trashman's tilting his hand as a moron, once again....! The Kidz need to off this clown, the real legit problem in NY was never Joe; it's always been Trashman....!
Ok Guys here is a recap of who was interviewed to replace Girardi: Rob Thomson Eric Wedge Hensley Meulens Aaron Boone Chris Woodward
thanx Lil', as I've been watching the parade of questionables, I shake my head in disgust and disbelief; as not one candidate yet can equal Joe's efforts at the helm.... Trashman's tilted his hand, as to creating this dilema, his own doing, and I doubt he can fix this problem, by landing a qualified experienced Mgmt worthy Candidate; not only capable of taking the team to the next level, but meeting long time Yanx standards for Mgr's....
http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/...says-agreed-decision-fire-manager-joe-girardi Hal and Trashman of one mind- ??? the Yankees might have switched managers even if Girardi had led the team to a World Series victory.-??? It had to do with two to three years, and observing things and hearing things,'' -??? Both Hal and Trashman need a head exam, for the voices in their heads, ie 'hearing things'. Anyone who would even remotely consider having A-Fraud in the dugout as a skipper, also needs a head exam... Why would one not contract a Mgr., who just lost an ALCS he never was supposed to see, or be in to begin with, by one measly game.... wonder how long this ship/team goes aground, before it's misguided, by the guy(s) at the wheel...and commodities sold down the river.
Said it once and will repeat, fuck Beltran. A couple months of '16 prior to going to Texas Beltran did not play up to expectations. I don't think he played that well in Houston either but he ends up getting a ring. Now dirt bag Cashman wants to interview him for manager. The same Beltran who while being interviewed as a Yankee said that Terry Collins was his favorite manager. My fondedst memory of Beltran was when Adam Wainright struck him out to end the NLCS. Fuck Cashman in the ass dry.
Cashman, sneaky little fuck, his actions bring to my mind that old Soul Song "Smiling Faces" by The Undisputed Truth. I still get enraged over Cashman shutting the door on Matsui after his '09 Series Performance.
