Yeah right. You have liked many of my posts in the past, including that one.

Like McMillan, Stotts wins only with a superhuman effort from one player...Roy, now Lillard.

A motion offense that's dead last in the league in assists?

    Conductor we have a problem.

Brah, gotta inform you most of the people who wanted Layman in the game 'because he couldn't do any worse than Harkless'... Aren't really thinking straight.

Now why Stotts gave them their wish I will never know... I mean the guy isn't even a player in SL.
Well unless you count volleyball athleticism, and trying to outshine Westbrick in the missed shots department a player.

I mean shit Layman isn't even in the right places like Claver often was. Why Layman is on the roster I will never know.

What I'm more annoyed with is why Stotts still thinks playing Meyers Leonard is worth it.
Vonleh while also gave up rebounds and got pulled in the 3rd quarter for doing so... Is far better than Nards.
Sadly Portland got out worked by a team who got called out in the previous game. I expected the Kings to be a tough game tonight for that reason alone.

Wow. Curious why some thought we were really going to be so good this year? This isn’t an “I told you so” post, I don’t do that. But man when I said we would finish behind Minny, Houston and OKC....... I got blasted. That pinwheel fever clouds the common sense around here. This season is going to be looooong for some of you. We are still a little above my projected pace, so that’s a good thing. Go Blazers.

Given the sos and how it's reversed this year for Portland people are freaking out because they're below your projected pace.
I however don't see it like others do so.

Okay so you just expected to lose to a shitty Brooklyn and Kings team coming off a 46 point loss? Lol okay I guess people can’t be unhappy about that. Boy, you just expect everything. So right all the time.

I didn’t expect anything but maybe a first round exit at the most. Losing to the Kings and seeing an insane questionable lineup being put in wasn’t expected by anybody at all actually. You give people shit for not being fans enough but when these fans show their love for the team to the point losses like this get them rightfully upset, you still have a comment to make about them. Yeah people over react and some on here don’t but it seems no matter what you always have some dumb I told you so type shit to say on every game thread

    That is almost unbelievable!

I'll own being one who was needed to see Layman play a bit. However, it was NEVER at the same time as Meyers. I was just advocating trying him out for a bit for a few games in a row since we are getting so little from Harkless. Layman isn't the reason this team lost this game no matter what he did in the minutes.

Is it Dame and CJ more than Stotts?

Or is it? Does it seem like Stotts is asking for the best big man coach that money can buy? Is another poster correct tonight who says Stotts needs to provide more structure for Nurkic?

Aminu seems to be really important to this team; this is the second year in a row when we really play bad when he is out. But good teams deal with that and keep playing well. Why don't we?

Last in assists and last in fast break points; how does that make Stotts an "offensive genius" as some have called him?

Is it possible that Olshey still has a fantasy of being able to trade Leonard and Layman and asked Stotts to play them during meaningful minute (not end of game, blowout times); hoping against a bad team they might do something good?

Did not get the game on radio. I suppose they cut power at dark to keep the range the same. It doesn't, it gets worse at dark. Should not be that way with AM.

Oh well, just as well I guess. This team is not really playing basketball by the look of the box. More like the Chucker brothers and the boys.
Except the Chuckers are not chucking, just a high flick count. Half the shots by the starting guards? WTF? I suppose it wouldn't be quite so bad, but for the wrong guard taking most that half. The other missing most of that half.

Time to find a coach that knows the game.

Surely even you didn't think we'd be so bad as to lose to the Nets and Kings?
I think most people agreed with you that we'd be behind HOU/OKC/MIN (MIN is about where people begin to fall to one side of the other, IMO). You can't take the opinions of the Kingspeeds of the forum and apply them across the board. But most people - rightly - felt like we should be miles ahead of BKN/SAC. This has been a pathetic early showing from the Blazers.
