well the Nuggets look to stay hot and get revenge after losing on their home floor to Detroit a couple weeks back.I think that we'll do the same thing that we did in that game which is get a win. Lindsey Hunter is back for the second game since his suspension, Sheed is coming off a missed game for 18 techs, Rip is Questionable, and Chauncey should start to look like Chauncey again tonight.Pistons win big again 106-89Chauncey and Tay lead. Sheed shoots well, bench plays goodAI gets 20-something, Melo same but thats about ityour predictions?
I think Detroit will win this game... I'm just hoping Denver doesn't come out flat like they did against Toronto in that back-to-back... I just want to see a good, entertaining game.
Oh man there was only 1 way the Pistons could of tied the game and Sheed did it. I thought to myself all Denver had to do was inbound the ball and the Pistons like they have been this whole season would of had another loss at home.I mean the Pistons have been known to hit miracles, such as Lindsey's lob against the Celtics baCk in the day, Chauncey's half court buzzer beater against the Nets in the 04 playoffs, Rip's buzzer beater against the C's in the 2nd game of last season etc.I like how Maxiell and Murray got the start to boost their confidence for the upcoming playoffs. Not to mention McDyess has been on a tear off the bench, I just wish Delfino could be part of the mix as a consistent scorer. All I have left to say is if the pistons lost after that miracle, Sheed and all the Piston fans(like me) would of been heated. HoLLa baCk
Wow, what a game. I started watching with a few minutes left in the 4th quarter, because I wasn't home but I obviously caught the best part of the game.- That shot by Rasheed Wallace was insane, even though he should have never touched the ball. Melo should have grabbed the ball, instead of tipping it away into Sheeds hands. I know Rasheed practices those type of shots in practice, but he got lucky. Not taking anything away from the shot, it was amazing. Sheed actually hit a few clutch shots tonight, he torched us with his clutch play.- Carmelo Anthony made a few major mistakes late in the 4th quarter. When we had the ball and the lead with 50 seconds left, Carmelo should have wasted more time off the clock before taking the shot that he missed. Then on the other end, he committed a stupid foul to send Rasheed to the line.- Marcus Camby and Nene came up HUGE tonight, they both had amazing games. They combined for 45 points and 30 rebounds. I can't be happier with those numbers, that's the rebounding I love to see.- Video: http://www.need4sheed.com/
Well, looks like I was right... game was fun to watch, and the Piston's won... unfortunately. But I'm impressed with Denver... and they should feel very, very good about themselves. It took a half-court shot from Sheed for the Pistons to beat them (even if Detroit was missing CWebb and Rip).It was funny though, because on the replays of that shot you could see a lot of people leaving, and then suddenly turn around when the crowd started screaming. And then the arena was full again in OT.I was hoping it would go to double-OT, but that didn't happen...Great game though!
Denver should feel good??? They played well but remember detroit was without their leading scorer Rip and Chris Webber who has been huge for this team since being picked up. If Denver wants to be taken seriously this was a game they were supposed to come in and just blow detroit out imo. They played well but didn't get the win, right now I'd be very disappointed to let that one go.
