My point is Dallas is going nowhere this year, with or without Wes. And if I am Mark Cuban I would be hoping to be a player in the big free agency targets this next summer. Getting rid of Wes' contract would be helpful. And every time Wes has a bad shooting night.....might be the time to try to get him.

Although Portland does not have enough ending contracts to make that work.

If you want scoring in bunches Kirkpatrick isn't a bad target. I'm good on Matthews. At SF? Really?

Yup. Three backup level forwards for sure.

And that's based off what? I learned after CJ not to judge a player too early, and when it comes to Jake, it's too early.

    Bump.

Dario Saric's role has dramatically changed with Simmons.

Saric is a facilitator who needs touches.

    He's my #1 target.

I think Saric is part of their plan... So you may want him, but it'd be good to be realistic too.

I can easily see Hezonja coming to POR
he needs change of scenery like Nurk and we need something else at SF, hes young player with upside

Id say thats low risk, high reward type of deal and hes white (Olshey likes white players, doesnt he)

We need a starter, not a backup

Hello, My name is zero points, 1 rebound and 3 turnovers. I'm Harkless' stat line from last night.

I've only seen Saric last year on TV when playing against the Blazers. Everyone in the game thread said he was a big star. I said he's a clunky effort player, the opposite of smooth as silk. Overrated.

I've watched several Philly games this year - he's much better.

That's what all you guys said the last time I saw him. I bet we'd still differ.

He's like a horse with its mouth wide open. I think he'll have a heart attack on the floor during a game.

I would trade Harkless in a heartbeat for a SF who can shot.

You mentioned one game. I mentioned several..... did that get lost in the translation of "I saw him in several games THIS season" which would have more of an impact than "I saw him in one game against us last year"....
