I'm just saying we need a player who isn't a short scoring guard more than we need another short scoring guard. We have so much redundancy in the short scoring guard department. That said, I have no issue with Bazz - it's better that we have him than not have him. And I don't think he'll cost too much to retain. I just think it's far more important to get some diversity in our roster.

I respectfully disagree. Whenever Dame or CJ are down to injury or a bad night our team is struggling. I also don't love the idea of Dame playing the entire 1st quarter every time or CJ having to fill up two positions every night.
It is no coincidence that when Napier is ON we have a better chance to win.

Sure, i would love to have a tall 6th man who is capable of defending as well as shooting and finishing like Bazz, but those kind of players are more rare and come at a premium price.

Love Bazz, but he is very replaceable.

I can't think of an NBA team what would pay him $10 mil per (except maybe the Olshey Blazers :) )

I would deal him for a young struggling player, preferably. Someone like Beasley or Stanley Johnson (he isn't struggling anymore?). Leaves us with more cap space AND some additional talent.

I'd be inclined to use him to help dump Turner or Meyers

You would need a team with $20M or $27M cap space willing to be crap for another year because Harkless does not really improve you much. I don't see that.
