<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Appearing via phone on the Stephen A. Smith show on ESPN Radio 1050 in New York, Ron Artest said: "I'm not retiring."Citing club sources, ESPN.com's Marc Stein first reported that Artest wanted to retire at season's end.Artest said he told teammates he was thinking of retirement because he missed his kids, but he never thought those comments would make it to the public."I'm totally dedicated to this game," Artest said. "I'm totally ready to still try to make these playoffs."I don't plan to retire," Artest said. "When you don't have your kids around you can get a little bit vulnerable, a little weak."</div>LINK

You never know what's gonna happen with Artest. That's why I wouldn't want him on my team unless I didn't have to give anything for him.

Artest has given the Kings a great deal of problems this year just like he did in Indiani. I think it's time for Sacramento to trade away Artest, there are teams that will still want his defensive talent. After all the law problems, problems on the court with bibby, and him wanting to retire then go over-seas it's just getting ridiculous at this point and is hurting the Kings franchise dearly.

but who will want him at this point? The kings were kind of the last chance for him.

There are still teams that will want him even with his baggage. He still is one of the most versatile defenders in the NBA and can also put points up as well. I'm sure teams will take chances with him even now.

I don't see a team out there who would take that gamble at this time. They would be reaching considering he still causes problems and says stuff like this. He's like a rental, not worth paying for the first time around because it'll break down on you soon after you got it.

What he really needs is to play on a team with a strong leader. Look at Dennis Rodman - he was always a nutcase, but when he was with the Bulls he did no bullsh*t because he knew MJ would beat the sh*t outta him for doing something stupid. Artest needs that kind of enviroment. I think the Lakers or the Heat would be a great place for him.

All the stuff he's said and done have taken down his market value tremendousely. People won't give up alot of value for him anymore, however it is clear that this situation in Sacramento isn't working well with Ron. The Kings will have to market him lower than how high the Pacers did, a lower value will make teams bite on the oppurtunity.

Dennis was crazy but his craziness was rarely detrimental to the team.

<span style="color:#008080">Artest is a very versatile player, but all his issues keep messing things up for him, I like him as a player but with everything that has happened with his wife and his attitude, he needs to improve as a person</span>
