Kings just beat the Warriors (who were short-handed but still).

At home too! We're only 2 games behind Warriors now.

If I'm interviewing for a head coaching gig, the first question I ask my prospective employer: "Do you have any Bickerstaffs on your payroll?". If they answer yes, you know you're fated to a premature firing before you even coach your first game.

Of course, I'd still take the job, just make sure your whole contract is guaranteed. That way you still get paid after you get Bickerstaffed.

Griffin from the clippers went the locker room due potential knee injury.

The name is practically foreshadowing. If you have bickering among your staff, or even worse, if the players bicker with the staff, you'll be hitting the road soon.

I was shocked that Kings beat Warriors then I realized Warriors were without Curry and Durant, which just reinforces my opinion that Thompson and Green by themselves are just good players who need to be surrounded by top talent to succeed. Thompson would maybe still be a star if he went somewhere else because of his shooting and defense but Green outside Golden State would IMO become underwhelming.

What does being at home mean when they don't have Curry and Durant?

There, I set you up to say "They should be better than the kings without trash Curry and Trash Durant"

To which, then I say "We lost to Brooklyn at home"

To then having you say "Brooklyn is actually good. Warriors are trash"

To which then everyone will say:

I would say just the opposite, actually. Green would still be an elite defender and versatile cog in any offense. Thompson is the guy who can't create for himself, can't finish anything but a catch-and-shoot, and is largely invisible between offensive eruptions.

I think if you put Thompson in any decent team with a creative point guard who needs attention at the perimeter - which pretty much 80% of NBA teams have these days - he will deliver.

As for Green I think he is on fire at Warriors because of how they play and how competitive they are. He would IMO get frustrated in any team that isn't this good and his game would decline, he is a terrible loser. Just my feelings though, maybe it wouldn't happen, I don't think we are going to find out either way. He is more about character than pure ability I feel.

The clippers are definetly out of the playoff race. That's good for us

It's not a matter of volume shooting with Klay, it's his mindset and mechanics. There was an interesting article last year about Curry and Durant's shooting drills. One of the coaches talked about how Thompson is just as good of a shooter as Curry, but his mechanics give him a much smaller margin of error. I figure that has something to do with his ice cold and red hot nature in games. He's not built for consistency.

    I think it's because Thompson's shot-arc is a little flatter than Curry's.
