So when Aminu comes back does he replace Pat, Vonleh or neither?

Pat/Vonleh have been playing well and the team has been winning.

I'll bet Stotts brings him off the bench to begin with with Mo...Vonleh owns the 4 for now..if he starts Chief it'll be at the 3

I've noticed that Stotts doesn't change a thing if the team is winning. It's like CJ and his hair cut.
Pat will continue starting until a loss, then Aminu will take over at SF, leaving Chili in his more natural bench role.

Pat might actually fit best with the starters. He will get cleaner looks and have an easier job playing with Dame, CJ, and Nurk.

True. And i know Stotts really likes playing Aminu and Harkless together for their switching abilities on defense.

The Bucks game will be a big test for Pat in the starting lineup. He will start against Middleton, who has a huge length advantage on him. It will be an interesting matchup to watch.

Sad I'm not going to be able to make this game. I've attended the last two times we played the Bucks because Giannis is just such a freak of nature. At least we won one of them.

I don't feel good about starting Pat against the bucks with their fucking long arms. The bucks are the Most difficult matchup for us imo with the size and their good defense. I expect a ugly defense game

Yep. I am a Pat fan, but Middleton could really expose our small ball lineup. This is why Pat is best off the bench in the long term. I've been happy with the way he has played as a starter though. But these are the matchups that could really expose our lack of size. We shall find out.

I still think the best option long term is that he's not in the rotation.

What do you think about Jake in the starting line up against the Bucks instead? Maybe playing with the starters will have the same effect on his shooting that it has with Pat? Also he is long enough to defend Middleton.

Not only is this a revenge game, the Blazers have to start defending their home court with much more vigor. GF is going to get his but don't let everyone else go off.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, last time we didn't have have Vonleh, this time we do. If I was Stotts I would put Noah on The Freak all game.

To clarify, If Giannis is in the game so is Vonleh and he doesn't go out until GF does and when he comes back in so does Noah. Don't even give The Freak a chance to get going against Davis, Meyers, Caleb or whoever Stotts decides to give minutes to off the bench tomorrow. Giannis is Noah's assignment.

Yes, I realize this would mean that Stotts would have to not be so stringent on his rotations but I can hope can't I?

Agree to disagree. He is a fine role player that does his job and helps the team while on the floor. He deserves to play and I feel confident that good things will happen when he is in the game.

Did you feel the same way about Crabbe last season, that he is not a rotation player?

I know its only been 1/4 of a season, but all of Pat's shooting percentages (FG%, 2FG%, 3FG%, eFG%, FT%, TS%) are better than Crabbe's were last season. He also has a higher TRB% and a higher AST% and is playing better defense than Crabbe did.

He is doing better at the one thing Crabbe does well (shooting), rebounds better, is a better passer, plays better defense and can actually dribble the basketball. So, in what way is he not a rotation player?
