My favorite Broadcaster ever. I met him once. He was amazing. I'll never forget his on air battles with Bill Walton. He was a class act. You will be missed Snapper!
I went to a Blazers preseason game at Gill Colosseum back when they played them around the state. I don't remember anything about the game but I remember I was sitting one row back and two seats over from him. He looked like he didn't want to be bugged, so I didn't bug him. But I can confess I was a totally geeked out fan boy the whole time. RIP Steve
He had an edge to him, but he was as cool as can be. We got along, cause he always used to crack on people. Always had a joke about somebody, I loved it.
