So you just made up a starting 5 that has zero chance of happening? Was your post a joke post and I just missed the humor in it?
Paul Allen has said that he will pay the luxury tax for stars. I don’t see why PG13 wouldn’t sign here. That guy doesn’t have much time left, I don’t think hes worried about blowing his wad.
Going over the soft cap doesn't work this way. As Portland sits, they wouldn't be able to sign Paul George as they don't have his bird rights. Well, unless he takes the vet min.
Honest question: Do you understand how the salary cap works? We have to have cap space to sign him, which we wouldn't have. What does paying the luxery tax have to do with that?
yeah I forgot we would have to get rid of some contracts. Swapping CJ for Gordon would save us only like 8 or 9 million I think.
40 points 15 rebounds 4 steals 4 assists It's my fault, I keep hoping that people here start knowing a damn thing about basketball but it's a war already lost, people here wouldn't trade Connaughton for Klay Thompson. Enjoy your fucking mediocre team with overhyped players, keep believing all the shit coming out of the mouth of Olshey. Meanwhile keep calling me a troll if that make you feel more comfortable about your fake conviction about this team, time will tell.
I like Zach LaVine and Lauri looks legit. But I’m pretty sure we could’ve gotten butler or PG13 if olshey didn’t fall in love with his guys so much.
Lauri could definitely develop into something. I'll admit that I was wrong about him pre-draft. He was on my Do Not Draft list. I really don't like Dunn. I think you could call someone up from the G league who could be better. I'm pretty meh on Lavine.
Gordon is really good, but this deal cannot happen anyway. We cannot match salaries. We have to take back a big contract to make it work (Biyombo big) and we ll have to extend Nurkic and Gordon next summer meaning we just increase our salaries by at least 15M with such a trade and we don't want that.
