<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Garbajosa, who had five points and five rebounds, left on a stretcher and was taken to a hospital. Toronto spokesman Rover Yau said Garbajosa would stay in the hospital overnight for evaluation.Toronto should know the extent of the injury on Tuesday. One thing's for sure, it wasn't pretty."I really thought he broke his leg," Jefferson said. "We bumped, my leg hit his leg, and I looked down and he was all twisted up. He was screaming, and I could feel his pain."</div>

For people wondering what happened, Al Jefferson was on a fast break and was going up for a dunk. Garbajosa tried to block it, but they collided in mid-air and Garbajosa landed wrong on his left leg. It was just horrible. When he landed and fell back, his entire left leg just flailed. I didn't know if it was his knee, his ankle, or what. But I saw another replay angle and it is something to do with his knee area. It was just horrible. For those of you that didn't see it live, oh my god. You should have heard him screaming in pain, it was unbearable. I really wish him well, he's a hard worker and very important to the team. He's done for the year and he won't be able to be with his team as they try to make a run in the playoffs. I feel for him.

Damn this sounds horrible. This season has been filled with players getting hurt and now another one. Just seeing Al's face makes me not want to watch it and I feel for the guy. I for sure hope he does well and gets better.

Injuries have been a bi*ch this year, the Wizards have been harassed by the injury bug, as well.Anyways - Jorge Garbajosa was a crucial part of that Raptor team, it's really a shame to see him go down like that right before the playoffs.

that scream was horrible to hear. He was in some serious pain.thankfully when they showed the reply, they did it with the sound off.you could see the lower part of his leg/ankle kicking out in an unatural direction.I hope the injury only puts him out for the rest of this year and he's ready for next season.

At the very least, he's not coming back this season. The best you can hope for is that he'll come back and be the same player or close to it. He got his foot caught under him... I guarantee you that his knee is gone. I'm sure at least the ACL is ruptured, if not all the crutiate ligaments. I'm going to send this to my athletic injuries prof.A screenshot I took:[IMG]

Wow dude David Stern must have slept with God's wife or something cause the NBA's getting hampered with these injuries. At times they've been devastating for teams.

But the Garbo one was just as ugly as the livingston one to me.

There have been so many injuries this year, and many have hurt teams trying to make the playoffs like Stojakovic and the rest of the injured hornets, the wizards, Gasol really didn't help the Grizzlies get off to a good start either.

This is before all the Wizards injuries started occuring and just ravaging through the team also before the Lakers injuries, Lamar Odom would get injured again as would a couple other guys (Radmanovic, Brown, Walton).
