Vice President Mike Pence reportedly snitched on his Phi Gamma Delta fraternity brothers for having a keg at a party on his college’s dry campus and got his entire house in trouble. Pence, then a sophomore at Hanover College, alerted the dean that his brothers were violating the small Presbyterian school’s strict no-alcohol policy, his former fraternity brother Dan Murphy told The Atlantic in a profile published on Tuesday. http://www.newsweek.com/mike-pence-once-ratted-out-his-fraternity-brothers-having-keg-735711
It's probably true. Furthermore, that is a mortal sin in the fraternity world. He could have kept his big mouth shut. What a jackass!
Pence is an absolute moron. I found it interesting (and appalling) how this clown rationalizes his “Christianity” to justify his role as Trump’s pimp. And then true Christians wonder why they feel under attack. The man is disgraceful and shameless.
The tax bill includes a special tax break for manufacturers of alcoholic drinks. But hey, if we aren't rich enough for estate tax it's because we frittered our money on booze, women, and movies.
Totally! The one that killed me was the lady being interviewed by a TV station in Alabama with the title under her name that said "Evangelical Christian" and she was trying to explain that it was better to elect a Uncle Creep who likes to harass little girls than a democrat because they vote down democrat lines and that would have negative consequences for years to come.
"I will not lie, cheat or steal or tolerate those who do." Honor Code at Annapolis and West Point. Where you can get kicked out of school, owe the Navy 250k and have to enlist for the next 2 years for drinking on campus.
It's one thing to tell the truth when you are say, questioned by police. To me, that's not snitching. It's a complete OTHER thing to just alert somebody when you didn't have to. THAT'S snitching and not minding your own business.
Are you lying, cheating, or stealing if you drink beer on a "dry" campus? I don't think so. There's a loophole in that Honor Code it seems.
Two different things, my bad for not explaining them. If you drink on campus, you may be kicked out. I know people on both sides. If you see someone drinking and don't narc on them, that's between you and your God. If you lie about drinking on campus, or seeing someone drinking on campus, then you are gone.
Pretty convenient non-code of honor. Interesting you would snitch to a cop, who you claim are mostly racists and criminals, but wouldn't come forth to warn your neighbor a pedo is watching their daughter or a group of your friends are endangering others by breaking laws. Good for VP Pence for stopping illegal, and often fatal, drinking and hazing activities of the diseased fraternity system that glorifies debauchery, sexual assault and gang-hazing of defenseless students seeking an education.
It's good that American message boards aren't watched by snitches. In this country, you can say anything you want and it won't get you killed. For example, look at all the Communists who post. We are lucky to live in freedom. Now let's return to wee wee politics.
Like a poker game, we were dealt our hand getting Trump and Pence, which is like holding a pair of 2's.
