Of course you don't believe that the constitution should be interpreted in the understanding of the founders when it comes to the 2nd amendment. Their definition of "arms" would certainly be different than the current interpretation. The fact is, in both cases, and wherever the constitution is not completely specific and unambiguous, it is up to the courts to interpret it.
