My son...the nerd of all nerds will lineup for this one...buy the delux edition on blue ray with digital copy and give me the dvd after all his friends have seen it...it's a pattern
To me they are like sleeping pills....the lights go out in a theatre and ten minutes into a movie I'm snoring....I love the pause button on a movie
To the question, not me. Will rent Blu-ray when it comes out. Haven't been to theater in 2 plus years. Mine is better.
HAHA. For me I end up liking the rewinbd button. IF you fallen asleep, how cna you be awake to pause it??? Yes sir. Just got a new 4k 65 incher installed above the fireplace a couple weeks ago. Not sure if I like it. Everything actually looks fake. Seems to have lost some realism in the movies to me. But its been BluRay for years.
I don't follow tvs much anymore but check avsforum for your model, there may be settings to adjust to get rid of the fake look you see. It was also really weird going from a plasma to lcd when we first switched....got used to it.
Oh yeah, my 1080 p dlp projector looks awesome. The 4k projectors seem to be getting more affordable so I'll probably wait at least another year, likey 2 and get one.
Im also wondering if its because we are a bit too close now with this new TV. Our couch is only about 8-10 ft away. When I watch something behind the couch or down the hall it seems to be less noticeable. All good. We are selling the house after the New Year anyhow. Looking for a place with a minimum an acre and I'm going to custom design a pro studio onsite instead of having it under my living quarters. Got some good equity built up to build a nice studio. When we do the house we get will have a much larger living room quarters to be able to host large family gatherings and parties, etc. My current house is too sectionalized. But most importantly, Done with this neighborhood. After being robbed and then having a good friend murdered on Stark and 157th a week and a half ago, im done with the east side.
Do you maybe have Motion Smoothing turned on? It ruins everything and is often on by default on new TVs.

Waiot. What? YOu saw it already? But, the thread was started today. @dviss1 Are you misleading me and the title should read "are you going to see the New Star Wars Tonight?" lol Thanks, Ill check it out. Honestly dont watch much television. The wife does alot more.
