...the main sticking point with Cole is that he's only under team control for 2 years. (2018 and 2019)...and then becomes a FA.
...and oh, I noticed most of his numbers have declined the last 2 years.

    interesting....

as noted, Cole's still under contract, as is Archer. Archer has a 2020 opt out of 9 Mil $$$ with a 11 Mil payday in 2021. It's going to take a trade in the Yanx favor, tho' I've got serious doubts about both SP's, moreso Cole.

I haven't seen enough of Cole to know much about him; tho' his stats don't impress me for playing on a playoff caliber Team these last few yrs; (if you wan't to call the lowly Bucs a PS contender-meh); & as noted by 59 his numbers have fallen off the table over time; he's flat out sucked these last 2 seasons. The Yanx initially drafted Cole at age 18 in the 1st round of t/2008 draft, as t/28th overall pick. Bucs drafted Cole & signed in 2011 as the 1st pick of the 1st round, big expectations he's not lived up too....

Archer??? not sure what to think. Times he's lights out & can give the Yanx fits, yet his record vs Yanx/Bosox, hell vs the entire AL East sux. Perhaps his problem has been a horrible defensive team behind him.... I don't get a warm fuzzy that Archer could bring an A game to the Bronx; only his best Ed Whitson impression....

either way IF a trade could be struck, both would be discount SP's $$$ wise, and I'd gladly give up Headcase, Dinglefkngberry, and/or Gardner in a trade, .... jes sayin'...!

Just making sure you're awake is all, lmao....
actually: I've always believed laughter is a precious gift, that costs nothing to give....

    PS-
    I forgot-

    Luis Cesspool,

    and-

"Cap'n Fantastic and His Sailing Shoes", aka "the Self Anointed Captain of the Showers".... give you one guess whom that might be.....???

and IF Trashman hauls in another Kozma (Kokmothafckr), a C. Carter (Shit Cart) or Crapuano, I'm putting my dart board with our GM's Fathead back up..... Nah, I'll take it out & use it for Shotgun practice, ....

I will pay you to get close to his executive suite, (during a game next year), and puke all over his gucci shoes, hell his entire suit also. IF you can get someone to video tape it; post it to YouTube, I'll give you a few grand of Tote's money....

I remember seeing video when Stanton signed that multiyear deal with the Marlins. I heard Loria say he was going to build a winner, and Stanton say that was why he agreed to say. I thought the Yankees were stacked with only the need to get rid of Ellsbury & Headley. Surprise the get Stanton for next to nothing and on that note was glad to see Castro go Had Stanton gone to any team but the Yankees all would have been quiet on the Baseball Front. Lebatard has whined and sniveled about every move Jeter has made since he acquires the team.
