S2S at least post something relevent in the threadI don't like PFF either but your just as much of an idiotI'm gonna be different and critisize a player on my own teamI think Delonte West of the Celtics is overhyped..people treat him like a God here and he gets way too many minutes..he's a really solid player but he isn't a point guard and turns the ball over a bit too much..also he can't lay it in with his right hand..I love his game tho..I don't think he's as much of a keeper as Rajon RondoEDIT: Wow this is your own thread and you really weren't able to make much of a contribution
I think Celtic fans overhype generally all their players. Not saying its bad, but I checked out a couple Celtic games and yall made Rajon Rondo and Gomes sound like future-stars...which they are just really good role-players....right now atleast.

We all know that he's nothing more than a very good role player. Rajon Rondo, though, if he ever develops a semi-reliable jumper, he could be a very good player. He is good player, but he does have semi-star potential, no question about it. The can does absolutely EVERYTHING, except shoot well.

The celtics are stacked with young talent and Rondo could easily be a future starter on a team. Gomes has almost that kind of potential too IMO.
I know the potential...thats why I added "right now atleast", but Ive talked to Celtic fans online, Ive seen posts at other sites and occasionaly here suggesting that they are somewhat "stars". Im just saying...thats my opinion.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Celtic fans overhype generally all their players</div>I have to agree with that but I guess it's good that the celtic fans believe in there players a whole lot.

But trust me CB32 knows what hes talking about. I dont know about Ryan Gomes, but Rajon Rondo has potential...trust me he looks like Jason Kidd, even though I might not believe everything Celtic fans say, I believe them on this Rondo kidd.

Rondo will obviously never be Jason Kidd, but all we've said is that there are some similarities. But to austingriz: I've never seen any Celtic fan call everyone a star, like you said. West, Gomes, and Perkins are career role players. Good ones, but we know they won't be stars. You can't call us crazy for raving about Jefferson, Rondo, and Green though. Big Al is going to be in the All-Star talk next year, that's pretty much a given. Rondo, we've already discussed... may not be an All-Star, but if he develops a decent jumper, he'll be pretty close to it. Gerald Green, no explanation really needed, you see the star potential right off the bat. Tony Allen as well, if he never tore his ACL and kept playing at the level he was, and kept building off that, he could have been a potential All-Star candidate in the future. He still may be (doubtful, but let's hope so).The point is, we may rave about some of them a lot, but they clearly have a ton of potential. It's not just us, either, read the thread about "who has the brightest future." Notice all the people saying the Celtics, even if they aren't Celtic fans?
Amir Johnson has shown what he is able to do on the floor whether its in D-League or in the Pros. we all know that all of these guys like Rondo (imma big fan of him), Gomes, Green, (okay all of the young celtics really), and Pops Mensa Bonsu have a ton of developing to do which they are doing. but if we see flashes of greatness right now, why shouldnt fans be really excited for the future?guys like Rondo, Gomes and Green are really shining right now and they deserve the Hype.dont get me wrong, Blatche= KG? hahaha, whoever said that needs to be put away in an asylum.
You are acting like Amir has busted or something, Amir IS gonna be a stud. It's a true story. Joe has been offered first rounders in this years draft for him and has turned it down..and rightfully so.
I have to say this. I do not think that Andrea Bargnani will be the next Dirk. Don't get me wrong I know he has a very Dirk-like playing style (big man with a shot) and could be a stud and contribute as a starter for a team but I can't see him in MVP talks like Dirk or leading a team to the NBA Finals like Dirk.but then again, no one saw alot in Dirk after his first year.

Hahahah</div>Wonder who that can be.Just because he's not mentioned on ESPN, that doesn't mean he's gonna be trash. Did you say that Gilbert Arenas, Michael Redd, Ben Wallace, etc weren't going to be the players they are right now? Why don't you go watch some NBA instead of listening to every word ESPN or BCB the self proclaimed "expert" he calls himself say.
