I don't know about Lillard, but Stoudamire did.

    Corporate shill.

You can run for office and then get a high paying executive gig after you have passed legislation that benefits your company!

HVAC technician and then company owner. What other business is there that provides techs who repair your dis-comfort. You could actually work in any State. However, In NJ you now have to be licensed.

Hmmmm.......my dad was an HVAC guy and owned the company. He’s the one that told me I didn’t want to be a business owner and told me to work in the public sector. Great advice though I never made anywhere near the money he did....

All of almost 18 years ago but hey, you know those blacks...

It's funny that you point out Damon and his idiotic actions but neglect to find the most egregious drug user in the NBA.

There’s a surprising number of decent paying occupations out there that are really hurting with the baby boomers starting to retire (water/wastewater/environmental technology, nursing, etc, etc). Unfortunately the younger set is turning up their noses at those professions because they are unlikely to ever make a person rich and/or they require some physical labor (and perhaps at least a modicum of education). I realize that career opportunities aren’t the greatest right now but I firmly believe that if an individual wants some kind of career that will carry him/her into a reasonably secure future (or what passes for one these days) all it takes is some research and effort. Crying about lack of opportunity is an easy cop out. I wanted to be a rock star. Instead I became a turd herder.....and I’m damn grateful I grabbed at the chance and went after a profession that was realistic. The people who got degrees that don’t translate to “real” jobs (and took on a mountain of debt to get those degrees) have no one to blame but themselves.

The only way to be sure.

There's two paths into the future, one that has us all being robot repairmen in 2047, and one that has us all hunting the last of the winter deer with hand-cut arrows in 2047.

You may not be wrong, but this one will require substantial culling first.

Oh it'll happen naturally through the invisible hand of the nuclear winter. It's like the invisible hand of the market in that it kills poor people too.

You sure remember the black ones.

You can remember Steve Nash's "Asisst to miss Ratio" (invented fucking stat) but can't remember the controversial people who were kicked out of the league for using WAY worse drugs than MJ?
