Take a second to remember Rodney White. He could of went really high in the 01 draft because he didn't look like a bad player at all..and he's not, I wouldn't call him a bust for being taken pretty early in the first round and not doing much in the NBA, cause he simply didn't really get that much of a chance to play to his full potential .. what do you reckon? I haven't heard many people say bad things about him .. he seemed to disappear pretty quickly .. hmmmmmmmm makes your wondersome quotes b4 draft. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>4. Chicago -- Rodney White, Fr., Charlotte White won't stay around too long. He could be gone by No. 1 and no later by No. 6. His workouts keep him moving higher on the charts. Jerry Krause could steal Michael Jordan's thunder if he wants to work a trade with Vancouver to get White at No. 6. If the Wizards really want White, they might need to take him at No. 1.</div><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>9: Detroit Pistons | Rodney White | SF | Charlotte 49ers Solid pick. White is a versatile 6-9 forward from Charlotte who fills a need and should fit in well next to Jerry Stackhouse. He only played one year of college ball, but he's 21 years old so he might be more ready than most. Michael Jordan was said to be very high on him.</div><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>6. Rodney White 6-9 230 Charlotte SF/PF Fr. -- Very good combination of power and touch. Does everything you need out of a PF: Crashes the glass strong, has good leaping ability, soft hands, toughness, even has some dribbling skills. Can knock down shots out to college three. Has a lot of potential.</div>

Came from a small school, was older for a freshman, had a nice year, had some great workouts and went way too high in the draft. He was just completely overrated by scouts.

Rodney White played well for Denver in his first few seasons in the league, he was a solid scorer off the bench for us. I heard recently that he has been putting up solid numbers for an Italian team overseas, I would give him a workout if I was a team in need of some scoring off the bench. I wish him the best in his career.

Wow, weird. Just 2 days ago, I signed Rodney White to a 1-year (minimum) deal on my NBA 2k7 association when Pierce went down with a 3 week injury.
