It has been nearly 4 1/2 months scince we saw Peja Stojakovic score a career high 42 points against the Bobcats back in November. After missing 58 games, there is a 50% chance Peja could return on saturday. The Hornets started off 8-3 with Peja in the lineup and went 8-5 overall before Peja went down. New Orleans has 10 remaining games and could use Peja's outside scoring to improve the team's offense. The big question is will Peja be healthy enough to make an impact? The Hornets are currently 32-40 and 24-35 without Peja.
Gosh, what a long injury. That back surgery is a lengthy process. I think it's funny how Peja has been listed as the leading scorer on the Hornets this whole time. But I don't think Peja could have a better time to return. I think Peja is extremely important to the Hornets right now. He can really help the Hornets fight for that 8th seed
I think we're averaging right around 94 ppg which is a league low. Hopefully, Peja raises that. He averaged 17.8 before he was injured
Glad to hear of him returning. It was a bit sad seeing him get injured and then not playing for almost the whole season. The Hornets could have used him for sure. Hopefully he can contribute right away.
