If you wanna be captain body language something is sure as hell up with CJ and has been for about 10 games. I think it boils down to our team doesn't fit well together. We have barely any cutters, our shooters are very inconsistent and it seems like we have very few catch and shoot plays. Also can someone besides Dame make a damn entry pass to nurk?

The team has been a bunch of quitters. Remember last year' warriors elimination game?

Yes. This has an eerily similar vibe to the 2011-12 team.

For the team to quit it would mean they have actually tried to start.

I agree, it looks that way... thats why Im saying that every next win is extending this agony
changes needs to be made, both via trades and firing Terry Stotts

we had a lot of close games and thats not cause were good, its cause were bad and we lost most of them

I dont know what Terry Stotts has ever done to deserve such a trust from Paul Allen & Neil Olshey

Probably has something to do with playoffs every year but one he has been here and two trips to the second round. So pretty much success the team hasn't had since Rick Adelman was fired 10+ years before.

    No.

Can't say the same for some of their fans though.

he hasnt done anything that wasnt expected... its nothing that some other coach couldnt do
Terry Stotts is not one of the best in the business and that means hes expendable as he should be

I know Blazers cant go further than 2nd round, Terry Stotts or not, but I do believe we can do better than this

as I said it, Portland Trail Blazers and its fans are stuck in mediocrity and we look at Terry Stotts as our own Rick Carlisle, Pop, Brad Stevens, but the same goes with our players... both Dame & CJ, theyre good, but theyre not good as we made them look like

Do the math. If Phoenix hadn't lost any of their games they'd be the #1 team.

Nah. They're just getting frustrated. They're playing hard, just not smart/well. If they weren't playing hard, the defense would be a lot worse than it is. Lillard fighting injuries for weeks has made it look worse. Maybe him having to sit out for a little will be a blessing in disguise.

This is the body language I'm reading from CJ & Lillard.
CJ because he's not having the year he's capable of having.
Lillard because he's trying too hard at times. He'll never say it but he wishes he had some help.

I also believe it greatly annoys these two when Turner is the guy the ball ends up in the hands of with the game on the line.
How many times has this happened this year? 6 or 7 times?

I wouldn't say they've quit - they look rattled. Like they're actually trying too hard and nothing is coming easy.

Dame and CJ said all summer that they needed a third star during their campaigns for PG13 and Melo. They basically threw their current role players under the bus trying to convince them to come to Portland.

Well one thing is for sure....we're back under the radar again before the allstar break...it's not like the first time this has happened around here.

It hasn't happened a grand total of 5 times (78, 90, 91, 92, 99 and 2000) in the 48 seasons this team has been around.
