Calling the Devils a young juggernaut. Oh Larry. Just stop your sad attempt of trying to get people to read your articles. I read the title then moved onto the next page. The season is not 40 games Larry. Their goalie is 31, and they have no replacement in sight. Two of their best defenseman are 33 or older. Most of their best forwards are in their prime. They still have little scoring depth. Their top 5 goal scorers have 12, 11, 10, 9 and 8. The rest barely have anything.

This is why this guy has no credit-ability.

Yeah i don't get that. They play hard and fast which will probably get them into the playoffs, but they won't be facing the other teams backups like they do alot, or teams taking them lightly anymore.

I saw that and started laughing. They are obviously way better than they have been, and overall they are now a solid/decent team, but calling them a juggernaut is WAY over the top. Funny stuff.

I will say this about the Devs though, I really like that 1st line of theirs. That is a good line that has a dynamic quality to it. That hasn't been the case for them for a very long time.

Saw portions of the 2nd period.Had to turn that shit off. Devils were overpowering this Ranger team
never taking their foot off the peddle. As usual Rangers looked like chickens scurrying all over without
their heads......they looked comical! LOL Henry was outstanding and still he lost. Devs stepped in shit
with the ridiculous hockey draft, and of course, they play the Rangers as if it’s their last breath. And to
add insult to injury(Fast), ex- Rangers beat their old team.......What else is new with this long Ranger saga?

Juggernaut my ass! They have always played the Rangers to the bone......losing is not an alternative!

Not saying we are a juggernaut but to say the devils aren’t young is just stupid lol but what else should I expect from you. I mean they are the 5th youngest team in the nhl. I could care less if there isn’t a goalie in the pipeline when Cory is only 31. But you go ahead and worry about that. Kinda funny when your goalie is 35 and signed for 5 more years is it? At 8 million ? Lol woof I would worry about that. But hey you will have An 8 million dollar backup in a few years congrats.

Zuc 30 krider 26 mcd 28 grabner 30 shatenkirk 28 ( great contract) that’s for stealing him from us. And your saying our best players Are in their prime? What’s that mean for yours lol.

You mention how little scoring depth we have then go and actually show how much scoring depth we really have lol great argument there. Hall has 5 more points then zuc and played 3 less games.

I know it’s hard to contemplate the devils winning three cups and 5 finals during their window and the rangers have 1 final during theirs and their window is closing while the devils will be opening again. That’s hockey life.

The simple fact too that you can’t say these two teams are on different trajectories is amazing and comical. Keep it up Kreids your always good for a laugh.

Dickless shows up everytime they have a little success. Wait until the last 25 games when all the teams turn it up and they get rolled.

Bringing this back to the Rangers, I think they should sell off this trade DL. Move Nash and Grab and Holden for sure. Think about moving Zucc and McD and Kreider. To me it is time to build things back up by taking them down a little. Similar to what the Yanks did last season.

I am tried of seeing guys wide open all over our zone. I am tired of seeing Kreider be invisible for games at a time, then all over the ice, then invisible again (also tired of his low hockey IQ).

We have time to let this play out until the DL, so no decision needs to be made today, but this is how I lean. Simply cannot see this team making a long run with their pathetic in zone coverage and continued turnover after turnover. I am tired of it. So to me I would hit reset here and move a good handful of players and truly kick start the rebuild on the fly. The time has come I believe unless something drastically changes between now and the trade DL.

And BTW...I would not deal him, but I am a little down on Miller also. No one is a bigger Miller fan than I am, but he also disappears for games sometimes. On pace for 16 goals and 57 points a season after 22 goals and 56 points. I expected a bump up, and instead he is stagnant or down a little. That has frustrated me as well. Wouldn't move him, but I do want to see him become more consistent. And as a kicker in 40 career playoff games he has 1 goal, so yeah I want to see him take a step forward, which we have not seen so far this season.

And I'll also add, it is time to fire AV as well. As I said above, fed up with no D on this team. It really is embarrassing. If we miss or just slip in and lose in round 1 or 2, which are the most likely scenarios, AV has to go. Time for a fresh start with a rebuilt on the fly team with a good handful of new players next season.

    It is time...

The ice time and juggling of lines has become intolerable and senseless.

Nash, Grabner and MZ could bring back stuff but Holden isn't worth a roll of towels from an MSG restroom. How many times can Zuccarello pass up a shot on the rush?

Toronto is a very good team that the Rangers should have stolen a point from but knucklehead Hayes decided to move his skate 3 inches offside. Hank played another strong game but the dmen"s insistence on chasing pucks they'll never catch to the corner leaving the front of the net wide open was too much to overcome. The ref didn't miss one thing the Rangers did all night while letting several hooks and holds go right in front of him, think his panties got bunched up when Hank yelled at him.

Shatt passed up open shots several times on the PP last night. The only reason to tolerate his shitty defense is if he produces on the PP, also helps if players hit the net with their shots.

The constant passing up of shots is a staple of this team. Need some selfish shoot first players out there. The big issue is that goals are all coming from the bottom lines right now. Where the hell are the top lines?

AV needs to be treated like a child with his defenseman. You have to take away his soft, no clue how to play defense defenseman from him. Otherwise, he never learns.

Zucc never shoots the puck. He is the worst at over passing, with Hayes not far behind. If I was a goalie and the Rangers were coming down 2 on 1 I would leave the shooter with an empty net and simply cover the pass...LOL...it truly is mind blowing that this team doesn't shoot in those situations ever.

To me it is great to get points obviously, and at the end of the day that is what will get us into the playoffs of course, but this team allows 40 + shots pretty much every game. Allows way too many amazing scoring chances every game. So we need to also be real here and not just focus on oh they stole a point here or they might win a game where they play like crap. That is great for the regular season, but we are not winning a cup with this team unless something drastically changes in their own zone. So with that being the case I think I'd move some pieces a do that mini-rebuild this trade DL/next summer.

As for Holden, a dman like him can bring back a 4th or so round pick. Streit brought back a 4th last year. Hainsey brought back a 2nd last year. I think a 4th (maybe a 5th) can be had for Holden.

I was just about to make the same observation Mess. Why is DD the first line center, our best center zib benched the whole third period and possibly the worst defensive combo of shatty and staal together. The rangers need to bring up the kids on defense namely graves, pionsk and the kid they got from arizona and let them row on the job. Find homes for holden and smith. Play the youth and fire that gum chewing jackass behind the bench.

McDonagh hasn't looked all that great imo this year but somehow he's a ++ rating which i'll give him credit for since he's been playing with crap mostly.
