Or the Javitz center to see the shattered glass ceiling.

Yeah... I just want to see wall street and all that stuff. Just to see what its like.

Some of my experiences will just be putting myself there and experiencing it and then leaving. Cheap as hell. lol.

Yeah, I just walked down Broadway from the Oculus all the way up to like Union Square Park. Stop off at Chinatown and Little Italy, etc. Interesting walk...long though but sometimes worth seeing.

To me, Time Square was kind of a waste of time. Take your selfie and get the fuck outta there as quick as you can. I'd walk by Groud Zero, going up there isn't my thing. Same with the Statue of Liberty or Empire state, dunno...not into the Tourist shit that much.

Rockerfeller Center was cool for a quick photo. Walk through 5th Ave quickly, the Cathedral is cool, Trump Tower is cool even if you hate him, just go inside and check it out take a photo on the escalator, etc.

The New York Water Taxi is pretty sweet! It's cheap.....you hop on midtown on the west side. It takes you all around Manhattan and you can get off and hop back on whenever you want. Goes across to Brooklyn under the bridge and on it's way back, it swoops by right in front of the Statue of Liberty. One of the coolest ways to see everything. Have done it with my family twice, it's great.

So I'm leaving in about a week and a half for the trip. Staying in Jersey City about a mile from Ellis Island and the statue of liberty. I got a pretty sweet deal and much much cheaper than a hotel in times square or brooklyn or what not. It's a really nice spot.

Finalizing my itinerary. Was going to buy a ticket to chicago online, but the service charge was almost half of the damn ticket (Yes, $50 for a service charge) So I'm just going to wait until I get there.

I can't wait, though. Probably going to a Yankees game. Even though I am not a fan at all of the Yankees, I love the history of them, so.. yeah. Gettin excited.

If you want to see Chicago, the TKTS booth in Times Square is probably your cheapest option. Easiest would be going to the ticket booth at the theatre the day of the show. They may also have cheap rush tickets an hour before the show.

Enjoy your trip @Strenuus . I have never been to NYC. I would have chosen Wicked, but that's just my taste. If I did go I'd of course visit ground zero, the empire state building, and the statue of Liberty. I would stop by Rockerfeller Plaza cause I love SNL. I'd go to the Comedy Cellar. Always wanted to go to coney Island.

And I'd probably go to Trump Tower just to take a nasty ass shit in the bathroom and not flush.

Yeah, the PATH (new jersey train) station there takes you right to the WTC/Oculus station. Pretty convenient actually.

Yeah, this was my plan once I saw the $50 service charge. lol. And since I'll be by myself, one ticket should be able to be had.
