^^^^ so, it's a good thing that sign is on the peanuts, eh? LOL.... me, I'd of been one to walk on the coals of that fire, IF there weren't a sign telling me so. Or- Id walk into the Wolf exhibit at the LA Zoo, just to pet them all, IF they didn't have that 'do not enter' sign at the entrance.... Funny thing, for 30 yrs on occassions, I'd drive a Company vehicle from one AC Plant to another on a USAF Facility. I'n order to do so, one has to drive alongside a mega runway, and taxi lanes, with AC moving across the very lanes one drives on. One would always see red lights, & signs "saying stop for and yield to Aircraft". Another- "Do Not Go when AC is on Runway", meaning the side road for non-flying vehicles took one right just 50 feet behind those big B-1's, B-2's, SR-71's, U-2's, L-1011's, 747's, and many others. You ever see what happens to a truck that drives just 50-100 feet behind an aircraft with engines full throttle for a take off.....??? Now why would anyone pull out in front of a moving 300,000++ AC in a little car?? Why would anyone think their car/truck/van was a match for the massive propulision of 200,000+ lbs of thrust just 50 feet away vs their 10-20K vehicle ??? This was an environment where signs were only placed for liabilities you'd think. But NO.... there really are idiots that have done everything a person with a brain would never do..... then there's the other problem of being in front of a jet turbine shredding blades, that's occurred also, sad enough to say....
