What a joke of a game. NHL flubbed this one up with these awful officials. Rangers dominate play right up until the refs started calling the Rangers for every little thing and allowed buffalo back into the game. This should’ve been a blowout and was headed that way until the officials stepped in and made this game all about them and not the players.

By the way, how dumb is this change the side of the ice bullshit??? Play the fucking game and stop ruining it with asinine rules. Totally ruin all game flow with that crap. Only the NHL can take something fun and TOTALLY ruin it!

But hey, at least we got the win!!!!!

Glad they got the win in what couldn't of been an easy game to play.

I feel like for the remainder of the game they were trying to make up for the missed high-stick to Kane's nose. Take the two points, warm up and move on.

Here is what frustrates me. Clearly the Rangers are a talented team. I think it is hard to argue that. Not saying the most talented team in the NHL, but they have a real solid base of good talent. Hank has also been playing great hockey since a slow start. Hard to argue that. If this darn team would just play responsible hockey in their own zone they really could be a dangerous team. If they combined that with shooting the puck when the opportunity arises (see Hayes...who refuses to shoot...passing on a shot late to pass to a covered Grabner) this team could be very dangerous.

That's what frustrates me. Look at their splits now. Up to 7th in goals against per game. PK is now # 3. 8th in goals per game. Those are numbers that equal a good team (PP is down to 18th). If they simply tightened up and stopped the crappy coverage and sloppy in zone turnovers man this could be a team that can make noise. It's sad but I don't have faith they will/can do that though.

Funny thing about that play/non call is that Kane actually slashed Mika which caused Mika to miss the puck and resulted in the stick to Kane’s face.

Left Citi field with 2 points, if the puck could have been lifted a few inches on one of the dozen or so good scoring opportunities it would have been a blowout. The Rangers 4th line has played well regardless of who AV's penciled in.
