No, Aminu would be guarding LeBron. Who do you want to cover LeBron?

He was gonna be gone for 2 weeks, but he'll be back sooner.

This sounds familiar, somehow, but I can't place it

Who cares? Crowder is not someone you have to worry about. The idea is to go big on them especially when they don't have Love. That is what I don't get about Stotts.

Dude. Crowder averages under 9 points per game on 40 percent shooting.

as bad a yr as he is having does it matter? It seems he's another guy in Boston's "Stevens system" that does not play nearly as well elsewhere - see ET example

If we went with the lineup @tlongII suggested, you don't think Collins could check Crowder? Or put CJ on Crowder, and have Collins' size/length bothering JR Smith?

to the original question, who are you starting with Chief, Dame, CJ and Nurk who's going to be that much better at guarding LBJ? I would've thought Chief and Mo switch off on LBJ. :dunno:

As much as I like him, I don't think Collins can guard any of those guys tbh.

Turner and Mo will get those assignments. I'm not sure how much run Collins gets tonight.

You implied that we would have difficulty covering Crowder if we went with a "big" line-up of Nurk, Collins, and Aminu which I advocated. We'll never know how that would have worked since it didn't happen. I think it was a mistake.

Lol. The bad thing Stotts did IMO was put Aminu on Love. THAT'S where we fucked up. I would've put Aminu on Crowder. Not playing the rook had nothing to do with it.

This also means Zach would've spent time guarding LeBron. And if you don't see the problem with that I guess we can be done debating it.

Agreed. But you do have to give Zach props for that sweet snuff he put on LeBron's drive to the hoop last night. Mind you, I wouldn't expect that to happen more than that one time, but it was fun to see. Wish he'd had enough time to throw the ball off of James's ass before he stepped out of bounds though.

Maybe, but if so, it must be the only time this season that LeBron didn't get the benefit of the doubt over a rookie.
