He got a clean block on a driving LeBron. That's pretty good.

No problem with your usual whining about ref whining, but this is a needless cheap shot.

There's a difference between players/coaches using it as an excuse, and fans talking about it.

I agree that it's not OK for players to give up because of it, they've just got to be better than the refs, and the opposition combined.

Fans complaining about it doesn't impact the team, and is completely valid at times, given that biased refereeing occurs in the NBA at times.

Remember how you said to adjust to the calls? When you adjust to one sided calls, that is what it looks like. The team getting called for cheap fouls backs off and that allows the other team to be more aggressive. They have more room to operate and they are confident they will get rewarded for their aggressiveness. The team getting hacked in the paint with no reward tends to settle for open jump shots, because why go into the paint to get whacked again and again with nothing to show for it? Might as well pop the open jumpers that you can at least have some control over whether they go in or not.

If that's the case he needs to be in a trade package for a quality level SF at the trade deadline.

I'm not worried about the loss. They played more like a team today. I'll take it.

If only we could get him to be a bit more consistent. The story of this team though, right?
