The Hornets(32-40) trail three games behind the Clippers for the 8th spot in the West and will need to gain some ground on Saturday night. New Orleans welcomes in the Knicks(31-41), who are coming off a close loss to the Mavericks on Friday night. Both teams are still alive for the playoffs, but are behind two teams in the standings. Peja Stojakovic is listed as doubtful for the game while he continues to recover from back surgery. Season Series: New Orleans leads 1-0Key Matchup: Eddie Curry Vs Tyson Chandler

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (MaRdYC26 @ Mar 31 2007, 08:21 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Huge game.Go Knicks.</div>tip-off in 2 hours. The loser of this game is basically in trouble. Knicks lose, they drop even further down and probably will be out of reach from the Magic. Hornets lose, their basically out of it completely. I told myself if we lose tonight, I'm gonna start focusing on the draft lol. :dribble:

Bonus: The Hornets really need the Clippers to lose tonight in Portland. It looks like that won't happen. The Clips lead the Blazers 65-39 at the half.
