Rookie gaurd Mardy Collins came off the bench and scored 14 points and dished out six assists. David West led New Orleans with 20 points and eight boards, while Desmond Mason scored 19 points. Chris Paul had a rough night until the overtime period. CP3 scored seven of the Hornets 11 points in OT and outscored the entire Knicks squad combined. New York only had one FG in OT. Bonus: The Hornets really need the Clippers to lose tonight in Portland. It looks like that won't happen. The Clips lead the Blazers 65-39 at the half.
The Clipper-Blazers game just finished up. L.A. wins 99-86. New Orleans is now three games behind the Nuggets and Clippers now, both are tied for the 7th and 8th spots.
I thought they would make the playoffs this season they were in 7th earlier but I'm not sure if they'll be able to make it.
