Whether you all like it or not, this match-up may determine the MVP if the outcome is anything like last time. This is a big game, bigger than the last one, for the Suns anyway. Phoenix really needs to get out of their slump now that San Antonio is only 2 games away. Home court is going to be important for a series like that so they really need to win some games. If they lose they will be 1-3 against the Mavs and any excitement or confidence they had from the last game will go away. But if they win, they would be 2-2, 2-0 after the all-star break against them. In what should be a very tight series you can't afford to let the other team have the mental edge as well as the home court advantage. For the Mavs, it'll just make it known that no team is close to them and like I said, it should give them an extra advantage in the playoffs. It should give Nowitzki the MVP, which I think he deserves. It'll be interesting to see if the Suns or Mavs made any changes from the last game. The Suns really need to rebound better. I'd like to see Kurt Thomas in there a little more than before, especially when Damp is in there. He actually knows how to box out and with him in there the Suns are pretty good at rebounding.Marion will be very important for us in this game. The reason the Suns have been slumping can partially be credited to Marion having the worst month I remember him having in his career. Yesterday he got out of the slump and had a very dominating performance and the Suns really need him to play well tomorrow. It's known that the Mavs already can't stop Nash and Amare, but they play good overall D so Marion is going to be needed to provide some scoring and be very active on defense, forcing turnovers.I'm also hoping the find some way to contain one of the Mavs' trio. I don't want to see Bell on Howard. They just don't match up well. I'd rather see what Bell can do on Terry.I think the Suns can win this. They haven't been that great lately, but I see them showing up for a game like this, especially since it's at home.

I think Phoenix really can get back on track by defeating Dallas again... This'll lift them up outta their sh*tty slump as you had mentioned ASUFan... If Marion, Bell and Barbosa all show up and are on, Dallas doesn't have a chance... We know Barbosa is good for at least 15+ points, but the wild cards are Marion and Bell... We know they're capable of having outstanding games, but also capable of being non-existant as well... Nash and Stoudemire are pretty much consistent, so I'm not worried about them... The Mavericks need to lose 2 more times this season to NOT reach the 70 game win mark.... So I'm hoping loss number 1 starts here in Phoenix tomorrow!

Ah, this will be a really fun game to watch. I'm assuming that the Mavs will try to run with the Suns as their pace is usually about the same of their opponents. It will really come down to Nash vs. Nowitzki in the clutch. Last time, Nash out-performed Dirk who chocked multiple times. Role players will be a huge factor for Dallas and Pheonix, although Pheonix isn't nearly as deep, Dallas's long bench will force the Suns to play what they have. This is gonna be fun :)Side Note: Anyone know if Willis is playing this game?

Bell is going to contribute in some way no matter what, but Diaw has disappeared in too many games this year even though he's capable of having big games against the Mavs, like last season. Hopefully he can have one of his near triple-double days. We need that from him for the offense to reach it's full potential.

He might, but he's not even listed on the mavs.com roster and there's no announcement about it, either. I kinda doubt he will play, but he could be useful.

Just play 5-10 minutes off the bench give quality hustle minutes with smart basketball. Be more of a lockerroom effect than a force on the court.

I'm pretty sure Dallas didn't sign Willis just to see how long it would take before he collapsed on the court trying to keep up with Amare or Diaw [IMG]

Wow, I can't believe Kevin Willis is going to come back... That's unbelievable... I'm curious to see if Pippen's going to be returning here soon or not... I've not heard anything for a coupla weeks... And Yeah, you're right ASUFan about Diaw as well, if he can perform well, the Suns've gotta good chance for a win. Not only that, but the Phoenix bench is deeper than most think, it's just that stupid D'Antoni never plays them as much as he should!

Good luck on having the 44 year-old even try to keep Amare under 30.
