If they don't draft JaMarcus Russell, it will be a terrible mistake. Calvin Johnson is great, but they need a QB, and JaMarcus is beasty. It's between Calvin Johnson, JaMarcus Russell, and Brady Quinn, but Quinn is a longshot.
If they didn't need a QB so bad it would be Johnson without queston, but they need a QB so JeMarcus is the right pick.
they should sign david carr, then draft calvin who will make any team 5 games better then they were last year........ it don't matter though, their oline still sucks, and russell isn't that fast, and he ain't gonna be that good his first year......
If they sign David Carr, they will select Calvin Johnson. If they don't sign a QB, they will select JaMarcus Russell. If Brady Quinn can prove himself anyway, they will take him number one.
JaMarcus can throw the deep ball better than Quinn, he's more accurate, he's more of a physical specimen, and he is much more talented in my opinion. He's the next Daunte Culpepper.
I would take Russell. If they keep Moss, they will already have a good trio of recievers. They dont have a franchise quarter back, and Russell has alot of things that you would want in a QB. Hes mobile, he can throw for days, and he can run very well for a QB as well. Although I think Johnson is the best player in the draft, they need a QB so badly...

With the Raiders deep threats he would compliment them alot better than Quinn would. However, I do not agree with that more accurate part. Brady Quinn was the most accurate passer in college football last year, and can read the field better than Jamarcus Russell could read the field.
Okay...but in terms of the longball, JaMarcus is more accurate. I think you have to agree with that...
