I'm kind of with you that this seems like a nothingburger, but it could be spun that: 1) "supposedly incredibly-biased-against-Trump agent" (I think his texts kind of out him as not needing that "supposedly", but whatever) 2) changed the Comey memo from something criminal to something not... 3) Investigated the Trump/Russia election shenanigans 4) didn't think the investigation had legs 5) didn't want to participate with Mueller in May 2017 6) (months of deleted texts, missing emails, etc.) 7) agent is on the case as a lead investigator 8) (some texts are found saying in 2016 that he approved of the "insurance policy" in case Trump got elected) 9) resigns in July 2017 seems fishy.
That there's no there there (what I've been saying all along)? This is the head of the FBI investigation into collusion. It kind of supports Trump saying it's a witch hunt. Going after him when there's no there there.
I haven't read his texts, but as I understand it there are texts critical of various non-Trump politicians as well, including democrats. Maybe he's just biased against everyone. I don't think he resigned. He was reassigned. barfo
Yes, it gives support to the witch hunt theory, but it seriously undercuts the 'Strzok is an evil biased liberal out to get Trump' story. I'll note that saying there's no there there before doing the investigation might not be conclusive. barfo
I don't talk about Strzok being an evil biased liberal. You have me confused with someone else. My only concern with the guy is that he is doing everything ethically. His ethical issues are what are coming to light. Things like deleting those texts. To Mueller's credit, he did fire the guy. Mueller always hires the best guys, right? (I do not call for Mueller to be fired or his investigation to end before he's done). The evil biased liberal who investigated the trump collusion angles with the full backing of the FBI came to the conclusion there's no there there.
https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018...cabe-all-named-fisa-memo-according-first-leak Comey, Rosenstein, McCabe All Named In FISA Memo, First Leak Reveals Schiff's "counter-memo" came on the heels of an absurd letter written by Schiff and Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) to Facebook and Twitter executives, calling for the Social Media giants to combat "Russian bots" which were promoting the hashtag #ReleaseTheMemo. The letter's claims were immediately shot down by Facebook, which told the Daily Beast that #ReleaseTheMemo hashtag has been pushed by actual Americans. a knowledgeable source says that Twitter’s internal analysis has thus far found that authentic American accounts, and not Russian imposters or automated bots, are driving #ReleaseTheMemo. There are no preliminary indications that the Twitter activity either driving the hashtag or engaging with it is either predominantly Russian. In short, according to this source, who would not speak to The Daily Beast for attribution, the retweets are coming from inside the country.
If they real want to release the Memo then release the info that led to the creation of the memo as well.
I think they're going to release it. Apparently they will authorize Trump 5 days to release it, or they will vote to release it after.
And that the secret society involves blood sacrifices and human/zebra sexual relations? What then? barfo
https://www.wsj.com/articles/operat...e9e4bb43b52ae99bd&reflink=article_email_share Rep. Adam Schiff has many talents, though few compare to his ability to function as a human barometer of Democratic panic. The greater the level of Schiff hot, pressured air, the more trouble the party knows it’s in. Mr. Schiff’s millibars have been popping ever since the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, on which he is ranking Democrat, last week voted to make a classified GOP memo about FBI election year abuses available to every House member. Mr. Schiff has spit and spun and apoplectically accused his Republican colleagues of everything short of treason. The memo, he insists, is “profoundly misleading,” not to mention “distorted” and “political,” and an attack on the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He initially tried to block his colleagues from reading it. Having failed, he’s now arguing Americans can know the full story only if they see the underlying classified documents. I'm all for the truth coming out. Let's see the underlying classified documents, too. But I suspect it's just a smoke screen - a pathetic attempt to dismiss the claims in the memo for security/secrecy reasons. Stinks of McCarthyism.
