Sly pronounces "roof" like ruff ruff.

What really pisses me off is people who pronounce "route" like rout, not root. We used to debate that in 3rd grade in Iowa. But what REALLY gets me is people who pronounce "often" with the t. That sends me through the roof.

I often pronounce the t in "often". I also occasionally pronounce the l in "walk". I also say "eye"-ther instead of "ee"-ther and pronounce all four syllables of "comfortable" (as opposed to the "comf-ter-bull" that most of you neanderthals use).

Nobody axed me, but I figured I'd share.

Route can be pronounced either way. Often is pronounced without the t.

"Eye"-ther and "ee"-ther are both fine with me. I haven't a preference for "nee"-ther or "nye" -ther.

It's okay, everyone's a little weird. For example, I pronounce it "meeessage bowurd." Also, "Olshee." Also, "Aw, fooouk."

I deduce that you are of Latvian descent, you suffer from goiters, and your car window leaks a bit when it rains.
