Anybody know what the story of this is? Trump vs. McMahon? It sounds sweet, how did it start up?

It really wasn't sweet. It was stupid and just a gimmick to draw media attention to the WWE.If you watched wrestling, you would know Vince would end up with his head shaved. So not only was the surprize element gone but they had two crappy wrestlers represent Trump/Vince.

I watch WWE like once or twice a month or w/e and yeah it was so obvious Vince would be the one with the shaved head, I called it as soon as they made the match. Wrestling is so staged now its pathetic, I can sit there and tell you everything that's going to happen right before it does.

It was basicly to promote. They bring in a big name celebrity to attract raitings and popularity. And Im pretty sure it worked. But the whole pitch/idea was extremly lame and cheesy. I could have booked better myself. For such a big promoted match and popular event, WWE chose the WORST two wrestlers in the whole damn company. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>It sounds sweet, how did it start up?</div>It basicly started when the Rosie vs. Trump ordeal was going on. WWE ran a parody of a fake Rosie and a fake Trump, which was really bad and a disgrace on the business. From then on it escalated. It then led to Vince mouthing about Trump, saying he is richer, etc. So and on and so on. They chose to have a match at Wrestlemania. They would both pick a WWE wrestler, Lashley vs. Umaga. Who ever lost would get their head shaved

And in all the 1-on-1 matches, the person who was dominating in the beginning lost... as usual. Their story lines are getting worse by the month.

You can usually stream it online for free if you want. I know Lazy watched some of Mania online.I passed, the only highlight seems like Taker's win. The match order was bad, Taker/Tista before the Women's title match? MITB opening the show? Benoit only got 9 minutes with MVP. :dunno:

I liked the MITB opening the program to get the crowd going early. Nice way to build Kennedy as a legitimate main eventer but I don't like how they put Edge in the match only for him to lose his undefeated WM streak. :happy0144: MITB match getting the crowd hot early was completely killed by wasting everyone's time with a horrible Kane/Khali match. Give me a cruiserweight battle royal or something but not Kane and a giant stiff only known for playing a 2 bit role in The Longest Yard. :cry2: Benoit vs MVP was pretty good but due to some of the excess crap this PPV had it was too short of a match. Since Angle left Benoit is now the best technical wrestler in the company and you can only give him a 10 minute match early on the card? :happy0144:I was shocked to see Taker actually being able to carry Batista to a decent match. I'm just glad they got the title off that 2007 version of the Ultimate Warrior as the guy is so bad they are forced to put him in tag teams to main event any PPV he is part of. :worthy: Typical divas match. If I wanted to watch women roll around on the floor or slap each other I would watch a girls gone wild dvd or something :no3: ECW trash, next :no3: What a way to waste Lashley by sticking him with Vince McMahon, Donald Trump, SCSA and Umaga :no3: HBK/Cena was a solid match. I just hated the ending, I couldn't put it better then I read on a different mb that Cena has no business making both Triple H and HBK tap out to that pathetic submission move in consecutive WMs. :happy0144:
