Unless the Suns lose their seed they will be playing the Nuggets. Even though I am Mavs fan... I still am a fan of Carmello and Iverson. Both are explosive when it comes to points. Now against the Suns they had an amazing game. If they can pull that kind of tempo off I think they may be able to beat them. Iverson is one of the quickest in the league and if he can manage to slow down Nash the Nuggets may have a chance to advance.
You love hating on the Suns. It's not Phoenix that'll lose the seed, it's Denver because they only have a half game lead over the Clips for that position and LA has been playing well lately. The Nuggets play like the Suns except with a 2-3 player offense and a worse defense. I wouldn't mind playing them at all. Any team that tries to run with us will lose. The Nuggets beat us when we really didn't have much to play for, but the last game when the game actually had some meaning the Nuggets got raped. Carmelo and AI are great, but none of their other players can really do that much on offense whereas the Suns have 6 guys that can go for 30 at any time. The Nuggets may take the Suns to 6, but I don't even see it going that far. The worst or 2nd worse defense going against the best offense isn't a good combo. Camby is a great defensive player but he's too fragile. He gets hurt way too easily and I don't see him keeping up with our offense.Denver is also a game under .500 in the last couple months. They are just not a good team.
LOL, no way. They aren't coached that well, and they are so freaking inconsistent. Their chemistry and ball movement is just no where near the Suns', and besides Iverson, Carmelo, maybe JR Smith, they don't have much other firepower offensively.Bottom line is that the Suns are experienced, they have a ton more chemistry, and ball movement, and they are just flat out better on both ends of the court.Suns will win in 6 at the latest.
Nuggets do not play a team game, the general court vision on the roster is very low. The team relies so heavily on Melo and AI that when they're not on the floor they really can't function. Nuggets have made roster changes that completely threw off the on-court chemistry that they built with a very similar roster over the past three or so years. Andre Miller was a vital part of Denver's offense and without him Denver has paid in huge dividends. Denver is very inconsistent. There are nights that Denver gets the role players involved and plays a smooth fast paced game. Others, shots are not coming easy and Denver is completely falling apart. Without good team defense this leads to a nuisance on nights that Denver shoots badly. Pheonix is much more experienced, plays better team defense, and runs faster. Denver can not keep up with Pheonix's squad. It would be a 4 or 5 game series, maybe 6 depending on how Denver plays. Denver isn't even close to comparing to Pheonix.
I have a love hate relationship with the Suns .... love steve nash ... hate everyone else....meh I thought I take a stab at it. if the Nuggets go on a point frenzy....

Just like when Dallas, a team with a much better defense than the Nuggets, went on a point frenzy a few weeks ago.
If Denver plays PHX, it'll go six games at the most, but I think PHX will win it in five games. Next year is when Denver will make their move... but this series would be REALLY fun to watch.
Denver is going to try to run with Phoenix, which they won't be able to. Phoenix will beat them in 4 or 5, but those games will be very high scoring.
