    At it's finest was no doubt shown to us by Dr Jack and team.

    But it was pretty sweet during the days with Petrie as GM and Adleman coaching. Of course they had a fine roster to play the game. But they also had a master lurking about! You could catch a glimpse of him from time to time at the Blazer games. I would imagine, more often if you were at the practices.
    Any of you ever catch a glimpse of Pete Carril near the Blazers?

    Why don't we have that sort of help these days?

    Do you mean, the GM's nor the coaches are smart enough to use a master?

    I seem to recall Pete hanging around Sacramento in the days they were pretty good.
    Then Tex Winter was seen... not all that long ago.
