I almost bought a little white Benji type dog at the mall years ago. He was locked in a cage. I watched him open the handle to get out but it wouldn't open because they wired the door shut.

Then I watched him methodically unwrap the wires and get loose. Smart dog.

I have a personal rule about buying a puppy mill pet store dog so I didn't but I wanted to.

We'll see. You discount Vonleh. He's the one who we won't be paying.

Ed Davis is the heart and soul of this team. Even though he is a UFA, unless someone is offering a starting spot somewhere, I think we're in the driver's seat to retain him and we should.

And with that said, a moment for Black Jeopardy.

I'll take "They out here saying" for $200 Darnell:

Answer: They out here saying Ed Davis is gonna get Meyers Leonard money.

    Question:

What is, You better pay that man his money and don't be the stupid team to pay Butters and NOT Ed... (he did come over in FA...)

Psst... Lillard is the heart and soul of the Blazers.

    Learn that.

No... He's not. He's the unquestioned leader, but he is not the heart and soul. That is hands down Ed Davis.

Lillard is the heart. Ed is the soul. Meyers is the appendix.

Allen Crabbe in the sense that another team will MAX him out and Portland has 3 days to decide whether to match, not AC in terms of production.

    Tears? Um... No..

But our team will be crying once EVERY BIT of the toughness is taken out of it if we lose Ed.

No worries, @HCP is going to slip a steroid and meth cocktail into Meyers' gatorade.

That's flow, not soul (Oladipo's tracks--now THAT'S soul). Makes sense, since Dame's the heart of the team.

    It all fits together.

I don't know, he seems like a good guy. It's been a while since we've had a real asshole on this team. Felton, maybe?

Layman is like the little toe. It's there to check periodically that your furniture is still hard.

BTW - I still think Layman can make something of himself. He is like Pat - super athletic for his position. If he can just hit his shots, he has value.
