    To me, Ed is kind of like the black Przybilla. He rebounds, plays tough defense, sets great screens, knows his role and knows his limits. What he does, he does exceptionally well, and he doesn't hurt you by trying to do things he can't. He's a fan favorite that brings toughness to the team and is a shitty FT shooter.

    Seriously, they are even similar in that regard - both were poor FT shooters who improved their FT% later in their careers.

    He doesn't pass the eye test. He's not aggressive and CERTAINLY doesn't have that "dog" in him.

    If you compare Joel's best year (2008-09) to Ed's current season, they are very similar in all regards, even offensively. Joel scored 5.5 ppg, compared to Ed's 5.4. He played a few more minutes, but had a higher FG% (.625 vs. 566). Neither are/were noted for their offense, but are/were very efficient around the basket.
