I don't think Ed will be in a Blazers uniform to start next season, he will either be traded between now and next Thursday or he will not be re-signed because of sallary issues.
He's a pick-and-roll rim runner. Even if he could stick 10' jumpers, that isn't what I'd want him doing. 10' jumpers don't create a ton of spacing. Rim runners can create a type of space, drawing defenses in to the hoop area.
