Cool, then I didn't have to read what you were 'sharing' to already know what you were talking about. Glad we agree black pets not getting adopted has nothing to do with racism.
I have noticed these certain white people claiming it’s racist and also certain black or white “progressives” claiming white people are gonna have an issue with it because of the cast. I think a majority of people don’t give a shit. I love all the marvel movies. They are entertaining superhero bullshit movies. I’m excited to see it. I just saw the last Thor, that was great. Bring on all the marvel movies and fuck the people trying to make it a race thing
My favorite was my Golden/Chow mix. Big fluffy teddy bear of a dog. Shed fucking everywhere but still awesome.
The racist honkies don’t mind if it’s a Netflix or TBS superhero, but dammit it’s their big screen... or something like that? Also, that sounds a bit conceited! ... Ohhhh you meant the movie?
The Golden Retriever / Chow mix was perfect. Happy and goofy like a Golden but mellow like a Chow. It was funny but when I walked the dog and something weird happened the dog was behind me, I was top dog. If the step kids were walking the dog and something weird happened and he was out front and ready to protect them. One time I walked to him Fred Meyers and tied his leash to a stand of newspaper boxes and went into the store. 30 seconds later he's right beside me, lease bitten in half. soooo... bought a chain leash. Month later walk him to the store again. Chain him to the newspaper boxes. 2 minutes later I hear this loud banging noise. Jake is towing the paper boxes thru the store as he's looking for me.
That's a great story. Had a similar one. A long time ago we went to the animal shelter in Hillsboro - the wife and I really liked a border collie / something mix, about 3 months old. They put her on a leash to take her into a fenced area to play with us before we commit. She immediately chewed the leash and followed us in there anyway. It was clear she was coming home with us. She grew up, was about 35 lbs - got her a retractable leash for a 50lbs dog. Broke it first time out. Got her a 75lbs dog leash. Broke it first time out. Had to get the super huge 100lbs dog leash - that one worked. That dog was crazy, but she was so much fun. I still miss her.
Hahahahaha! It's weird when you find a dog and it just clicks. Before I got Jake (the Golden/Chow) I must have looked at 20 different dogs. I wanted a golden mix, not purebred because of hip and health problems. But I did not want a mean or agressive dog. A friend told me about this dog. A pure golden had jumped the fence and knocked up their Chow that was a show dog. They had sold the puppies but one of the people they had sold one to didn't want it anymore. They had gotten for their teen son for Christmas but he had stolen all the Christmas presents and pawned them to buy drugs so to punish the kid they were getting rid of the dog. (Sounds like a wonderful family.) Anyway I didn't want a chow but I drive to St Helens anyone and... instant love!
Great story! My Chocolate lab Jordan (sister named him) was hilarious. He used to jump really high like Jordan too. I would walk him while riding my bike but I had to be careful. He'd run in front of me and do this LOL.
This might sound domineering but when I got my Boston Terrier Simon he was FOOL before I neutered him. After the deed was done, I held him down with 2 hands like this: I would start to let him up then I'd hold him there. Very gently not rough but in a manner that he knew he wasn't going anywhere unless I let him. Never any pain or discomfort, just letting him know I was alpha. After that, I rarely walked him with a leash. He'd obey every command and was an extension of my senses. I miss that dog so much
