I liked Oscar Gamble, colorful dude, decent player, good with the New York media. The man could grow a serios 'fro. The man was too young to pass, RIP sir you were a good one!!!!!!!!!!

He lost an Afrosheen commercial endorsement due to the Yanx hair-do policy; although George did reimburse him for all lost $$$. What a 'Fro-!! Who will ever forget Reggie and Oscar going downtown back to back in the 4th inning of Game 5's - 81 ALDS .... Or- this: “They don’t think it be like it is, but it do”. A yogism not quit, imo defined as: He played his 1st MLB game at age 19; played for 6 teams over 17 yrs. Loved his crouchy laid back bat batting stance; Carewesque almost.... Defined: They don't believe the situation to be as dire as it is, but in fact indeed it has come to this.
